TL;DR = great shop, great owner, great prices. Respectable environment for everyone.This shop is one of the best not only in terms of comic book stores but also for Decatur merchants in general.The owner/operator is one of the nicest and most helpful people I have had the pleasure of buying from and meeting. He is always reasonable with prices and will always consider things if you ask.You will always leave this place feeling like you got your moneys worth. They may not carry everything but they carry a lot of what they do have. And they have the best.If you’re a regular you can get a monthly box where he will put all of your comics in for you and you can pick them up. Guaranteeing you’ll always have a copy waiting for you.

I had to travel to Decatur for an appointment and while there I stumbled upon The Comic Shop. I'm so glad I stopped in, the owner was incredibly nice and friendly. I picked up some comics for myself and my kids. When I told him my kids were into Pokemon and competed in tournaments, he threw in a cool promo. He also pointed me in the direction of another gaming store in the area to check out! The shop was lovely, very organized and clean. He had a great selection of comics, action figures, TCG accessories and so much more. I highly recommend and will definitely be back with my kids so they can dive into the thousands of comics.

The Comic Shop is fantastic. The layout is very nice, and very organized. The owner is super nice and knowledgeable. Super helpful. Will be returning weekly- my new favorite place.

An amazing store. The location is kinda weird. However, the guy who owns the store is very nice and really works with helping customers get the material they want. I highly recommend this place.

Muncy is super friendly and helpful. He has a wealthy of knowledge on comics both from the retail side as well as a collector and fan. I love to go to the shop just to chat with him and his regular customers.
