My visit today was terrible. Went inside store, no employees anywhere in site, except for the printing department. (2) Present
I walked over to see if I could get some help finding an item online said was in stock. Apparent manager I spoke with said no employees showed up for work today. Asked her help finding the product. She briefly walked to the section of the store where the item was located. I told her again what the item was. She pulled her phone out, not really sure if she actually looked the item up???
She said they didn't have it,and walked away. I pulled it up on my phone, walked to where she went and showed it to her. She reluctantly walked back over to the section and pointed, and left again. I again asked her to help me find it, since there was like 50 or so items that looked exactly like what I wanted. It was priced like 5-6 dollars more than the 1 hr. Pickup price online stated. She said that online and store are 2 different companies. That the price on the shelf the price. Went to the check out, she said she could adjust the price a little. I said ok, let me order the product online for the 1 hr. Pickup, and she said let me just save so trouble for us both. She slapped the product on the checkout, and the began to ring it up. She was rude, complaining that employees don't show up, ect. Ect. I paid, and she was still on her mini rant. 3 customers total in the entire store. 2 employees visible. I basically said, I see why no employees show up for work now. If 2 people mgr. Included can't handle 3 customers, why even have the doors open. Sad to say this, but nobody seemed to care that a customer spending their hard earned cash in that store was ....
1) paying for the product
2) paying to keep the lights on
3) paying their salaries to wait on and care for the customers needs.
4) is this the way staples wants it's customers treated? I'm sure not like this.
I hope this changes, as not every employee, or employers treat their customers like this, and in some cases worse.
This makes good employees that do care, not want to be there also. I.e. laying out of work, because their managers treat customers like this, imagine how they treat or interact with their employees. Thanks, concerned customer.

Kyle in the printing department is a pleasure to work with! He helped walk me through setting up what I needed printed from template to actual print. He was awesome to work with and made my printing job I was dreading SOOO easy.

I just wanted to recognize the wonderful employees that showed up with a smile on their faces to open the Decatur store today. The soon to be new manager stepped up and opened and was able to process my Amazon return within 17 minutes of arriving at the store. Pretty impressive!

The gals in the print department were so extremely sweet and helpful. Emily was incredible and made our experience so great. Makhyla was also super sweet and helped us cut our flyers for our grand opening event. They were both amazing and deserve raises. Their patience and helping hand was so appreciated. Thank you both!!

Wow just poor customer service, had my 2 and 8 yr old with me while printing off 50 pages of copies that I already had emailed to me and ready to print their copy machine was acting alittle slow and was waiting for it to process my 2yr old was playing with my 8yr old lady working there was absolutely rude and said something completely uncalled for!!! I kindly told her that she didnt have to be rude. Wont be back!!!

Just looking around the store & I saw a nice blue gaming chair & other good basic office supplies in stock & for anybody's needs in their offices or their homes to do their business.

Went in today to buy a office desk and chair. We were not greeted at all. We made our way back to the area where the desks are. I only saw one employee on the floor. She just looked at me and kept walking, looked at a sticker on a product on a nearby isle, looked again and walked off. I found a desk and chair I wanted, but there were no employees in site. We ended up leaving with out buying anything. Ill find somewhere else.
