I have dark brown hair and I have been bleaching and lightening my front highlights for a while now. I am trying to achieve a silver ashy type of color and when I first dye and tone it, it's perfect. But then I wash it, using a purple shampoo mind you, and the silver starts to fade into this more blonde color. It has been extremely frustrating and I have done tons of research but couldn't figure out why it was doing that. Then I went to Sally's a bit before Valentine's Day to grab some stuff because I was due for a touch up. I decided to ask the lady behind the counter for assistance regarding maintaining the silver. She was super helpful and so sweet, and then another lady with long brown hair came in and the lady behind the counter asked the other lady what her thoughts were about my situation. Then the lady with the brown hair showed me a product that you use when you condition your hair that deposits silver back into the highlights. When I tell you I could hug that lady, I am not even joking. I've washed my hair a few times since then and every time I wash, I use the product she recommend and it's absolutely perfect. I am sorry I don't remember names but thank y'all so much!! 10/10 recommend.

When you work at Sally’s “Beauty” Salon but don’t know anything about beauty. It was really embarrassing to know that every question I had, they didn’t know the answer to it and openly admitted they just work there but don’t know enough about the products. I asked for a specific product and they said they didn’t have it… after deep searching, I found it. Educate your people.

It’s 2:11 on a Friday and they have locked the doors?? So many people have tried to go in but had to leave because nobody is inside. Great way to run a business.

So it's not enough that I spend thousands of dollars a year at the store but now they're going to charge me .15¢ for a bag to carry my stuff out of the store. I understand it's only $0.15 but it's just the principle. Companies are just trying to gouge you any way they can. Just really pathetic.

I've been shopping at Sally's for ALL of my hair coloring needs since I started Cosmetology school over a decade ago. I've referred friends and family to get their color here too BUT THAT ENDS TODAY.Today I stopped into this Decatur location grab some L'Oreal 8.43 hairdye. They have a spot on the shelf, but no dye because they never seem to order it. I ask the cashier if they would bring it in on their next shipment. She just shrugged me off and told me I need to order it myself online but that it's free shipping with my PAID MEMBERSHIP to Sally's. THAT'S A BIG FAT LIE. Even with a membership, you don't get free shipping until you spend $35. My total for the three tubes I needed was only $23, so I said " Fine, I'll order double." Except they won't let you order more than 4 tubes and I'm not going to need $35 worth hair dye, etc every two months.So, I'll be buying all of my hair dye on Amazon. Did you know that it's $2/tube cheaper to just buy with free shipping on Prime?Because, I do, and I'll never be back to Sally's again.
