I wouldn't give the one star but apparently no stars is not a option. Not once, but TWICE we were told we were confirmed for the delivery of a John Deer Tractor. Delivery window was given as 8am to 8pm, the day comes with no delivery. Called the store to find out the problem and was told the tractor was not assembled and it was being moved to a week later (zero notification to us, we had to call and ask). Confirmed delivery day number 2 comes around, STILL NO DELIVERY. Call the store again and was told they "attempted delivery and when they couldn't get me on the phone they took it back to the store." 100% lies. We have driveway cameras and no one showed for delivery, the only truth to that story was they did call me and it went to my voice mail as I worked in a closed area during the day and no cell phones allowed. Keep in mind wages lost again (my spouse this time) and a text confirming the night before we would have someone available for delivery. So now a new day on the books because they say its the best they can do, another day of lost wages so that military discount you offer is null and void. As a veteran Id rather spent more money to deal with people who have integrity than the shady crew in Decatur Alabama. We have been loyal customers for years and we have had several issues, each time it came down to integrity and we are finally done. We will take our business somewhere it's appreciated. You lure vets in with that discount and this is how they are treated. Shame on you. I'm not sure why this website shows me from CA, I'm from Huntsville Alabama..

I have been going to this store for years. Good service, good input from employees and decent prices. Have used their install program and bought several appliances over 10 years - no issues. I don't know what all the bad reviews are about but must be a different Lowes I'm going too.

I wish I could give a negative five star. If I say the customer service is less than terrible, I would be giving them a compliment. I won't go so far as to say I won't ever shop at Lowes again. I can say that I won't be shopping at the Lowes in Decatur, AL again!

I wouldn't even give this store one star. We went in last night to buy a refrigerator and we were called white trash by an employee in the appliance department. I am a registered nurse and my husband is retired from upper level management from a Fortune 500 company. We had been moving all day and we weren't exactly dressed like the Rockefellers. This employee stated to another employee that he wished those white trash fuckers would quit looking through his refrigerators. If we were white trash we wouldn't have bought one of the most high end refrigerators in the store. This refrigerator will be going into a new home. We will soon be moving into the Decatur area but we will never go to this Lowe's again.

Went here to get some things for a project I was working on. The Customer service I experienced was amazing. Took the time to show me everything I needed to make my dream project turn into a reality. I would recommend going here for all your improvement needs.

I know its Sunday morning but dont bother opening if you are not going to have any employees on the floor to help, walked the whole store trying to find someone to help me. Was either avoided or no one around. Cashier could care less, not her job. The Decatur store needs some serious looking into as far as customer service or lack of. Taking my business else where. So frustrated I can't even think right now. Thank goodness we have a Home Depot.

Probably wouldn't even give them a 1! Horrible customer service including management- not helpful at all with their own mistake and couldn't care less. My advise- use the Lowe's in Hartselle- they were great!

Today, I had an experience similar to the previous reviewer. Waited and waited for help, approached 2 employees that saw me and turned around and hurried to the back of the store. When help finally arrived she quickly answered one question and then told a coworker she was going to lunch. It was 10:30 in the morning. Left Lowe's and went to HD where two employees helped by printing specifications of items I was considering, explained the differences in the items and when the choice was made helped me load my purchase.

Today, like most days at Lowes, I asked for help and waited and waited and finally left to go to Home Depot to get the lumber I needed. Without fail, if I can't find what I need or load materials that are heavy, I have to run find someone to ask because the employees are always preoccupied. I don't know why I bother even going in the store. Fifty percent of the time I end up at HD!!
