Recently bought 2025 honda crv, on pickup day , sales person name Jaylin white he gave me two key. When I reached home I realized tht he gave wrong key (2023 honda accord). Suddenly I called sales person n he said he gone drop my key at home bcoz tht his fault. After week no one bring my key n I contact him, he always lie tht im gone bring it. After few days he not answering my call. Then i called at front desk to transfer call to sale ls person but he never come on call then front desk transfer call to manager n he said he gone look n someone gone reach out to me but its month no one contact me yet. It's the way you serve to community. I'm from Huntsville, otherwise i can go get it by my self.

A couple of weeks ago, we were out of state, and the car battery was dead one morning when we tried to start the car. After charging for a couple of hours, it started but was dead again the next morning. There was no Honda dealership nearby. I got it jumped off and went to a big box store nearby, and they diagnosed the battery as no good. I had no choice but to purchase a new battery there.
The battery that failed was a Honda branded battery that I had purchased at Shottenkirk Honda, and they installed it. It was a 100 month warranty battery and failed 45 months into the warranty period.
I returned today with the failed battery to ask for some of the pro rated value of the battery back. I did not need it replaced since I had already purchased a battery when out of town.
There was a plus $60 credit on the pro rated value, but only if I had them replace the battery. They informed me that Honda did not give money back. Well, it was my money that I gave to them when I purchased their battery, I only asked for some of my own money back for a warranted product that failed less than halfway through the guarantee. No such luck. I should have used the useless Honda battery for a core charge on the new one that I had to purchase. At least it would have been worth something.

Jaylin is the guy to see. I had high hopes but a low credit score and he helped me. We needed reliable transportation and this gem of a person made it a reality. I walked in to this dealership with only my cash and my word. He made my dreams come true. My credit score was maybe a good 500-550(nothing to brag about) but he made me feel like I had a 900, (Tony Hawk y’all). The air conditioning was phenomenal, I can’t stress that enough. I felt like i was transported to a vast glacial plane, yet I was warmed by the hands of Jaylin, always so caring and pleasant. The manager was also very welcoming, he assured me that he was on MY side and really had a calming presence. I like that. My new car was delivered to me without any issues, or unknown problems. I believe it was Theodore Rosevelt that said, “What is understood shan’t be explained”. This has rung true. The fine folks at Shottenkirk Honda of Decatur definitely have delivered on their promises. I do not have a child, but if I ever do I think I’m going to give him the nickname of “Lil’ Shotty.” It was just that impactful. Seriously though, go see Jaylin and let your automotive dreams become a reality.
