I love Dollar General! It's my mini Wal-Mart. Lol. And it's so close to my house. So if there's something I need or want, if I can get it there instead of having to go to Wal-Mart.... Then I do just that. It's so much quicker and easier.

They are supposed to close at 10 pm but it was close at 9:40 pm when i went today. Not sure if they close earlier. If they are lazy they should not be working on that time. If it said at 10 pm then close at 10pm. Or announced it before hand.

Who the heck would have thought I would be reviewing the dollar general - or the DG as my colleague calls it - of all places? Certainly not me, but I was certainly surprised in stopping in on my latest travel to Decatur, for work. My colleague and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, which just so happens to be across the street from the DG, which I made my way to more than once on my visit. In this store, lies EVERYTHING one could want or need, all for under $20! Seriously - everything! I stopped in first for some snacks (think gummy bears and pretzels) and came back for a second time after discovering WINE for $6 in the corner. I repeat, $6 bottles of Barefoot wine. Beer and some malt liquor is also available. LIKE WHAT. I then walked my happy a** back to the hotel and proceeded to tell everyone back home in Colorado how badass the DG was in Decatur. When making another stop in Decatur, I WILL RETURN!

Dollar general is great to get a few items quickly. They have a little bit of just about everything you could need from food, drinks, household products and more. This location even sells beer. We stop here regularly when we need a few items quickly. Get in and out pretty quickly even at this busy location.

They locked doors at 8:04 pm not scheduled to close till 10pm.. I really would give no stars if it was possible.. corporate needs to fire these folks.. this was 12-30-2019.. I could understand if it was new year's but it wasn't.. nor bad weather..

This use to be one of my favorite stores but the workers are rude (except the one cashier they have working there day shift) . Also what is the point of corporate sending out sales adds and toy books if you are not going to honor the pricing .!!

New staff is amazing, they go above and beyond to help with any issues. The store is like a whole different place, I've been a continued customer and it just fills so much cleaner and easier to find what you need. Thanks for whoever put that in motion. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

This is my go-to spot if I just need something quick. Store and parking lot are smaller than the typical Walmart, which makes it easier to get thru quickly.
