My last review was nine years ago and back then I complained about high prices and less-than-fresh fruit & veg, while praising the bakery and quality of the deli and meat departments.
Has anything changed in all that time? Hahaha, nope. After a long absence I checked the store out and found that nothing's really changed. Sure, they have cool, hard to find groceries, tasty treats and imported meats that are almost certainly better than what Walmart stocks. But, after just one quick visit I managed to find items that were extremely close to their expiration dates on the shelves, plus dirty produce bins and fruit that probably should be put out to pasture.
So, if you need something a bit upscale or obscure, it's worth checking out. But I wouldn't make it a regular stop because you can get a better deal elsewhere and get fresher fruit and veg literally anywhere else. Oh! Last but but not least, the people here are super friendly and helpful. So at least there's that.

I just learned today that you will no longer have my favorite coffee that I have bought from you for many years -- Kona Blend. I buy both the regular & decaf. I can't find anything comparable anywhere. This is very disappointing.

I recently had an exceptional experience with the Fresh Market, specifically thanks to their outstanding manager. I needed a birthday cake for my stepson who is turning eight, and I had a somewhat unusual request: I wasn't sure about the initial cake choice and needed to have a message written on it.
The key to this is that I placed my I initial order through a second party app with the option for curbside pickup. Absolutely no effort on my part other than communication on my phone as I ran other errands.
The manager at Fresh Market went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. They were incredibly accommodating, extremely nice, and exceptionally generous. Their communication throughout the process was top-notch, and their dedication to providing excellent customer service was evident at every step.
When I picked up the cake, the manager personally hand-delivered it to and even apologized for the wait. I hadn't felt inconvenienced at all—in fact, I felt like I was receiving a favor for not having to go into the store myself. This level of service was beyond what I expected, and I am completely grateful and humbled by the manager's naturally apparent, genuine integrity and dedication to what she invests her life in. #slay
To top it all off, the manager presented me with a $30 gift card as an apology, which was entirely unnecessary. I wasn't upset in the slightest; I was in great spirits and deeply appreciative of their efforts. This experience was truly a delight, and I am incredibly thankful for the care and attention I received.
If you're looking for a place that truly values customer satisfaction and goes the extra mile, I highly recommend the Fresh Market. Their commitment to excellence and genuine kindness is unparalleled. Thank you for making my stepson's birthday special and for turning what could have been a stressful situation into a joyful one!

I love FM, shop there 3 or 5 times a week. I like that you have so many organic and nutritious foods. Having said that, I was shocked to see what ingredients are in the tuna salad at the deli. There were so many scary unhealthy additives in it! Makes me nervous about the rest of the deli offerings. Tuna should be tuna, mayo (preferably organic or at least quality), and maybe celery, salt and natural flavorings. I will have to check on other deli offerings. What’s in the chicken salad I wonder.By the way, the new manager is awesome and the rest of the staff are always helpful and nice.

I like the selection of hard to find items
It’s like a market in Europe
I am astounded at how many plastic bags are used
I was behind a man who didn’t bring his own bags
It was one or two items per bag
Why is there not a bag fee ???
All of this waste makes higher consumer prices and destroys ocean life
No bag recycling outside ?
Need to be more eco conscious
