Nice little shaded park. My 2 yr old granddaughter loved it. It has swings, slides, and climbing playground equipment. Has plenty of shade from the big oak trees. Has picnic tables under the oaks. A small pavilion and bathrooms. We walked down the boardwalk to the water. There is plenty of seating for viewing. The small pier has a covered end. Several people fishing and crabbing. It also has a boat ramp and canoe/kayak launch.
Playground: Cute small playground. Swings, slides, and climbing playground equipment.
Picnic area: Shaded picnic tables and a small pavilion.

Nice, quiet, place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Not a lot of parking, but there is usually not a lot of people at one time there either.

I love this place, I grew up in Daphne Alabama and we lived in walking distance and would fish and play here on the regular. It's really beautiful since all the renovations.

Gorgeous, just wish you were able to swim safely in the water. It'd be well worth it to clean it up.

This is a very nice pier looking out onto the beautiful Mobile Bay. The area is nice and clean, and the maintenance/landscaping is done well.
The actual pier goes a decent way into the water, and there's two smaller "sub-piers" that are lower to the water than the main area. There's also a robust kayak launch attached with handicap assistance mechanisms to help you into your vessel.
Fishing in the area has its ups and downs. If you're hitting the bottom, be prepared to catch hard-headed catfish with the occasional decent sized gafftopsail catfish. I'd recommend using live bait off of the bottom. Speaking of, the bottom is sandy and free of obstructions that would hang your line up.
I went last weekend, and 3 bull redfish were hooked up on live croakers. I also caught a small Spanish mackerel.
The shoreline has plenty of live shrimp swimming on the surface, and there's blue crabs in the area.
Overall, it's a really nice spot to just sit back, throw a pole out, and relax.
Picnic area: There's a small eating area.

Would be 5 stars if people would only cut bait in designated spots and not leave dead bait rotting everywhere when they leave and if the city replaced all the rotten wood on the bench seating on the pier. I’d other than that, the playground is great and the location is great
