My family and I have been apart of this “ church family” for just over a year. We absolutely loved the casual laid back environment and all the activities put on. We also loved that you could donate to the dollar club if you weren’t comfortable with tithing. Nor my husband or I had been raised to pay tithing but were actually very seriously considering it and would put money towards the dollar club. May 1st I was laid off and am the sole provider for our home. Finances became really tight and how we were going to pay rent was at the height of our concern. We turned to the church in our time of uncertainty with faith. They turned us down because there was no record of us paying tithing. This was the moment we decided this was not the right church. God was still at work in our lives and a couple things came through which not only paid our rent but will get us by while I transition into my new role and position. In my opinion helping others should not be done as a bank transaction. It should be based on need. My faith is in god is not shaken but my faith in coastal is gone.

It is a sad day when the pastor of this church is on the news and he doesn't mention one word about the Lord and or the Resurrection. He was more concerned about the EASTER EGG HUNT AND THE BUNNY. Keep teaching them kids that bunnies have eggs lie.

This is my church home and I am proud to worship there. This is a more laid back, casual atmosphere that strives to make everyone feel comfortable no matter where they are in their spiritual walk. In addition to spiritual nourishment, we offer multiple church and community events throughout the year. We do all this for the building of the kingdom and so that the Gulf Coast (and everyone else), will be saved.

No. This church is clicky. As soon as an outsider comes in and needs some kind of help. They turn their backs. It’s merely one of those churches for entertainment. Not for true disciplines of Jesus. We are suppose to serve one another as people. Love thy neighbor as yourself. This is not that church.

I heard the music here was really good so I came to check it out. Really disappointed they didn’t play and jazz, soul or R&B. They bands are D list at best. Food was subpar as well. Got the wings on a Wednesday service, definitely come frozen. Guess those donations don’t go towards nourishment. Next time I’m gonna hit up B-Dubs. Bless.

This church feels like home. Pastor Chad’s ability to spread the word is truly a gift. Pastor Brian’s knowledge and intellectual understanding of the Bible makes this church rooted. This church shines.
