If I could leave zero stars I would. Crooked. Had them look at my vehicle called to tell me it was $3500. Great, I have a warranty that will cover $3000.(Actually I was told by the warranty today they cover 5k per my contract) Four weeks go by nothing, no updates or totals in the link they sent, nothing. Then finally they call that it is ready and the total is $3500. What about my warranty, "oh the job was a total of 6k." I was never told 6000 dollars. Pull the phone call !! I would never have agreed to a $6000 job on a car barely worth that. Two separate invoices were created, and my insurance was only billed for $3400(although they cover 5000) and then I was billed for $3500? Double dipping at its finest. Violation of Code of Alabama § 8-19-1 et seq with their failure to disclose pertinent information PRIOR to work being completed.

I am late with my review but I wanted to share my experience dealing with this dealership. I purchased a 2019 certified preowned Chevy Express 12 passenger van from this dealership back in December of this year. I traveled from Georgia to make this purchase. After three weeks of having the van, I started having issues with the sliding passenger door sticking. I took the van took my local chevy dealership and they told me that the van showed signs of being in an accident on the side where the door was sticking and that the CPO warranty would not cover it and because of this and that I needed to reach out to the dealership where I purchased it and have them make it right. I called the dealership and spoke with the salesman who handled the sale. He in return went back and forth with the general manager. After a week of no response from the GM, I called him myself and he agreed to have the van picked up and repaired. The van was picked up and a loaner vehicle was dropped off, great! So after two weeks my van was returned to me and I was given instruction on how I should be opening the door!!!!! Ok now I am a business owner and I have owned three previous passenger vans so I know how to open the door! I was told that the door was adjusted and should be fine. WELL a week later the door came unhinged and I could not even open it. I reached back out to the salesman and explained what was going on, he said that he would speak with the GM and get back to me. Well two weeks of playing phone tag and the GM not responding and me loosing money because I could not use the van for my business, I had to take the van to a local body shop whom I trusted and had previously used! The body shop said the same thing that my local dealership said, that the van had been in an accident on that side and that's why the door kept sticking and came unhinged. I paid $2200.00 for the door to be REPLACED! I reached back out to the salesman at Mitch Smith and told him that I had to move forward with getting the door replaced because my business was loosing money because of this issue and I asked him to ask the GM if he would at least reimburse me half of what I paid to get the door replaced and his response was no. I did my homework before going to purchase this van. I checked the carfax and this van was suppose to be a one owner, no accidents, certified pre owned. I was very disappointed that the GM ghosted me! I drive a new vehicle every three years and I just bought a second van for my business, so this could have been an ongoing business relationship, but I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership nor will I refer any one TO THEM! Oh and this dealership also had to issue me six temporary tags for this van before I finally received the proper paperwork to get a tag in Georgia. SMH...this experience was the worst! Say a prayer and hope for the best before buying a used vehicle from this dealership!!!

What a wonderful experience! Our problem was identified and resolved so professionally and quickly. We were traveling and had a problem that could have ruined our trip. Thank you Scott and your kind and personable friendly staff. We are back on the road again.

I went to Mitch Smith Chevrolet for a new vehicle because that is where my daddy found a hood used vehicle for me. Samuel Tucker is the salesman who helped me throughout the process. And he was awesome. See I had never purchased a vehicle without my daddy in my 50 years. He passed away in 2022 and I was scared to do this alone. But I wasn’t alone. Samuel was right there with me holding my hand. The vehicle I found online was actually in transit and not on the lot the day I went to buy. So 6 or so weeks later it came in. I went to test drive it and almost had a heart attack. Samuel ended up driving me as I was so nervous doing this without my precious daddy by my side. He walked me through the process once I said yes and ta da! It was done. Worst part is having to pay for it. But that is with everything you buy. I found a new friend that hot day in 2022 who has turned into a life long friend. I send everyone to him if they are looking for a vehicle. I tell him all the time that 2022 Silver sage metallic Traverse is the prettiest vehicle he’s ever sold. (But the 2023 Tahoe in that color is really nice too.). Samuel is a God fearing man and will do you right.

I don’t normally give reviews. This Chevrolet dealership has the worst service department I have ever seen. I have a 2022 HD 2500 Duramax and have only had it serviced twice. It has only 18000 miles on it so far. And each time I have left after their sorry service department was done with it I have had to add fluids to this truck. I use a salesman there that is one of the best in the business. Samuel Tucker I will buy from you again but will never use these unprofessional service people again. They do not care about any customer. If I could have rated them a 0 I would.

Tiffany was absolutely fantastic from the purchasing of my vehicle to making sure my vehicle was serviced asap! The shop did excellent with services my vehicle needed and cleaning the interior!! My used car feels brand new! I will definitely do business with them in the future!

I am blown away with the excellent service I received from Mitch Smith service department. I was traveling from Florida back to Missouri and broke down at Dodge City, Al. I was towed to Mitch Smith on a Sunday not knowing if they could get me back on the road the next day or not. They went above and beyond their call of duty! I was in and out by 10:10 am and back on the road again and safely made it home because of your awesome service. I am forever grateful to this company for the service brought to me on my 2016 Chevy Equinox. Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful service!!!

I went to the body shop for an estimate and they took pictures and told me they would email the estimate. Well that never happened it made me choose a different body shop for my business.

Bought a 2018 Tahoe from this place and the transmission went out before I even made my first payment and they wouldn’t help at all! They told me I should have bought a warranty on it! I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Worst dealership I’ve ever had an experience with. Service Department is the biggest joke there is. They are rude, unresponsive, not helpful at all. All they care about is getting your money and putting you off. I’ve had an issue with this truck for 5 months since I bought it and even the General Manager Paul wouldn’t help out at all. The sales man I purchased from, Samuel, just stopped answering phone calls or responding to text. To ever get him on the phone I had to call many times and send many text. Once they make the sale, they are done!!! Still waiting on items that were promised when I purchased truck. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of dealerships that will sale at the same price but with better service! I 100% regret doing business with them and I’ll never spend another dime at their dealership.
