2050 Old Hwy 157, Cullman“Nice hotel for a wonderful price. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. The only issues we had were that the hair dryer was falling out of the wall, and the shower door didn't close properly because it wasn't adjusted correctly on the hinge. Otherwise, it was very comfortable and conveniently located to a variety of restaurants and stores.”

2052 Hayes Dr NW, Cullman“Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Clean hotel, very nice. The only downside was the breakfast, not very good but it was a bite to eat and get our day started. None of the Holiday Inns have a descent breakfast, that's my only negative with them. Hampton always a good breakfast but pet friendly and we don't stay at pet friendly hotels.”
“So we were on our way home from the beach in Florida and were only a few hours from home but we were tired and were taking a short break for our last leg of the journey. We saw the Best Western and there were numerous other options at the Cullman exit. A few of them we were honors members but the rates were not very travel friendly. We decided we would stop in the front desk and just inquire on the rate. There I met Anthony. Such a wonderful and friendly young man. I know he didn’t set the rates but they were so reasonable that we decided to stay. He explained everything we needed to know for our stay and also said they had fresh coffee immediately if I wanted some since I missed my morning coffee. He was not your normal desk clear he never let a smile off his face. To me he was the definition of everyone you would want to be your employee. So we entered the room and the first thing I smelled was clean!! I was worried because it was not as costly as others in the area. As I looked over the room it was spotless. I highly recommend this place to stay and you should hope Anthony will check you in. If so it will be a wonderful experience!!!!!”
“Disregard my previous review from May and Sept., 2020.Many things have changed, and not for the better.Bring your own bedding if you like clean sheets. We visited in May 2020 and stayed again in Sept. 2020.Both times we found the room to be cleaner than we expected for an economy priced room. Staff is always polite and cordial. You can't pick your neighbors (or guests in adjoining rooms) and sometimes they can be a bit noisy. All in all it's a great place to stay when traveling through Cullman.”
“Room clean. No bugs. Annette at front desk went above and beyond helping me to get into a room after Expedia messed up reservation. Do not understand some of the bad reviews. It is older but price was not as much as newer hotels. Didn't see one bug, wasn't bothered by anyone, and it was a pleasant and safe area. Breakfast had good options. May be some dings but nothing falling apart and everything functioned the way it was supposed to. With awesome customer service and clean rooms I will definitely come back when needed again.”
“Hi all, I couldn't find any information online if the hotel was bass boat friendly. I'm posting this review to help other bass fishermen who may be looking for a place to stay if they are staying in Cullman and fishing at Lewis Smith Lake. The hotel is located right off of I-65. It is somewhat secluded with no passerby attention and there is no other traffic back there except for guests and employees. First, the check-in staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and modern with plenty of outlets all over the room for phones, tablets, cpap, etc. Ice machines are located on every floor to keep your coolers full. Cameras cover all the exterior doors and almost all the way around the hotel for security. For boat parking, you can do one of three things: 1.) park in the hotel parking lot but you will have to unhook and park in a spot neatly without blocking other guests or taking up more than one parking spot, 2.) park on the street in front of the hotel next to the sidewalk where you won't have to unhook, or 3.) there is an overflow parking lot adjacent to the hotel which can accommodate trailers. The light poles surrounding the hotel have power outlets for charging batteries; however, these are powered only when the parking lot lights come on at dusk. If you're part of tournament, you will need to share these outlets. If you park in the adjacent parking lot, you will need a long extension cord to reach through the fence to the main hotel parking lot light poles. There is a Logan's Roadhouse, Pucket's, and Cracker Barrel with walking distance of the hotel for food. Plenty of gas stations close by to fill up boats. Hampton Inn is a very nice place to stay. Highly Recommended. (Also don't forget to tip the housekeeping staff as they do a wonderful job).”
