On Hwy 157, this morning, I locked my keys in my car, at a gas stop, with a 6 hour I-65 drive ahead of me. I was close to panic but Hammock Wrecker Service came to the rescue quickly, were polite and professional, and had me back on the road in no time.I am very grateful for their excellent service and highly recommend them.

Mr Hammock towed my vehicle after an accident near I65 in Cullman! He was quick and got me to a rental agency in Cullman to continue my trip. Great professional service!

This is a predatory towing company. They charge in excess of the fees set by ALEA. $380 for less than 24 hours is a bit ridiculous. I would not recommend this company for anything. This may be how they stock their car lot by charging such outrageous fees that the cars are not retrieved. Thumbs down to this company. I am filing a formal written complaint as well as a complaint with the BBB. If I could rate it 0 stars I would do so, but 0 is not an option.

Worse place ever to do service with, lie and say they are going to be open then not be open and charge extra money to come in after already charging a outrageous price. Then made us get it off the lot when out tire was flat to put a spare on that takes 10 minsService: Vehicle wrecking

This business is a predatory towing company. They make the rules as they go. They charged $380.00 for a car that was impounded less than 24 hours. They charged for 2 days storage also when in fact it was only 13 hours. They also do not take credit/debit cards, Its cash only and exact change at that. This is a money scam. They charge above the amount set for impounded vehicles in Alabama set by ALEA. I will be reporting this. They are not members of the BBB. Imagine that. Do Not Use this Business. I don't understand how they are even on the list to impound vehicles operating in this manner. I wonder if the Police Dept. is aware of their practices. I plan on letting the appropriate authorities know. The owner stated that there is no set amount for impound fees. He needs to be made aware that there is. Yesterday his hours of operation were from 9 am til 5 pm. Today it says open 24 hours. Guess he read up on some guidelines.Negative stars. Thumbs down.

These people are very nice. Taking care of me . My silver corvette was rear ended and probably totaled. They are helping me in every way they can. They are now my new tow company for everything.

The owner can be a little brass but he is honest. I would say make sure he is looking at your bill to give you the correct amount as if he is not there he can only give an estimate of what it is. He only will take cash and he may not have change so I advise to bring exact amount. He will help someone out if possible but he follows the law to the letter.
