My mother was a customer, and her tank developed a leak so all the gas she paid for leaked out. She informed the company, which refilled the tank and said it was no longer leaking. The gas leaked out again. Mother decided to change companies and asked Amerigas to close the account and pick up their tank, but the Amerigas rep said she could not discuss the account because it is in my father's name. Mom explained that he is deceased and sent a copy of his death certificate. They are still billing mother for tank rental and have not picked up the tank.

January 2nd I called and placed an order to have my tank filled, they stated that wouldn’t be an issue and they would be out in 7-10 days. After 2 weeks I call and they claimed that the order was put in twice and they cancelled it. So I told the associate that I still need it and I’m getting critically low on gas and she said they would have someone out in 7 days but they wouldn’t let me run out of gas. Well here we are with only a few gallons left and nothing from AMERIGAS. I call and explain the situation again and was told that I would have gas in the next 24 hours. Well the day came and the day went. Nothing. This is in the top 5 worst customer experiences I have ever had. The entirety of the lack of competence, communication, and willingness to take responsibility for their actions as a company is disgraceful. I will be actively discouraging anyone from using them as a company as much as I can.

I cancelled service with Amerigas in October of 2022 and was told that my Amerigas tank would be picked up within the next month.I never received any word from Amerigas on retrieving their 120 gallon tank despite calling multiple times. I was told that it would be picked up soon every time I called.Yesterday 8-3-2023 Amerigas showed up to my house unannounced and stole my personal 250 gallon tank with 70 gallons of propane in it and left their empty 120 gallon tank.I have called and been transferred around to 11 different Amerigas outsourced representatives and I am no closer to resolution on this matter. I have encountered nothing but rude responses and being hung up on.Amerigas stole my personal property and left me in a position where I am unable to cook at my home. I expect my 250 gallon tank with gas in it returned immediately. This is stolen property.I have filed a complaint with the BBB and my next course of action will be with law enforcement.

If I could rate this place a zero I would!!!! I called yesterday to cancel automatic delivery because it was on 32 and I’m moving at the end of the month. Well today somehow it’s on zero and I just got it filled January 21 and it’s only March 2. If that’s the case why wasn’t it filled like it was supposed to be? And then look at my account just to find out I’m charged 244 because they came to check for a leak!!

Before signing any contract with them see below and seriously consider signing with another company;I made the unfortunate mistake of signing a contract with them when purchasing a home. They refused to deliver gas to my tank (a tank that they had placed) last year before winter because the driver determined it was unsafe, finally got past the call center and got an actual customer service rep and they sent a guy out who determined it was safe and sent another driver almost 2 months later. They even tried to charge me for sending the guy out to determine it was in fact safe to deliver.Now I’m at less than 20% of a tank again, before winter again, with a delivery date set by Amerigas nearly a month ago and they aren’t even coming out and I’m having to go through customer service (who are under orders not to give you any contact info) again.

Terrible customer service and liars. Supposed to have delivered the gas on the 7th and only have foreign people answering the phones telling us they will deliver it today.

THEY DESERVE A ZERO OR BELOW. I NEED to speak to a local person. There is no way to speak to anyone to have problems resolved. I had created an online account months ago and sent a message to DISCONTINUE automatically delivered gas. Today, I received a message that the automated delivery is Scheduled! I went online and I cannot get to my account. There is an agreement that YOU MUST AGREE TO! ABOUT THE AUTOMATED DELIVERIES... without hitting "I Agree.." you cannot access your online account. I DO NOT AGREE. I ALREADY SENT The MESSAGE. To discontinue automatically delivered propane. Evidently, no one looks or perhaps their system is not working correctly. NOW. I CANNOT TALK TO A LOCAL PERSON AND THE FOREINGER ON THEIR " customer service line" HA. WHAT CS?. CANNOT UNDERSTAND.This DESERVES A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT

This is now Coast Gas. My fiancé paid for propane November 9th. It's now November 26th, and he STILL has not received the propane he paid for!! He's called THREE times only for them to keep promising they will deliver the propane that day. They insist you pay upfront, take your money but leave you hanging and won't deliver the propane. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The customer service is awful!

SINCE THE CLOSED THE CULLMAN BRANCH, THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE BITES. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT KEEP HANGING UP. DO NOT USE THEM. YOU WILL RUN OUT OF GAS BEFORE YOU GET A LIVE PERSON THAT KNOWS WHAT THEIR JOB.

This is a horrible company to do business with! I have been calling for months to have an issue resolved and have received no help to resolve it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Zero stars! I have tried to get in touch with a manager and have had zero luck for months! And it is their mistake!

Honestly the worst customer service ever. Do yourself a favor and swap companies now. You can find better prices and local call centers. Amerigas has outsourced everything and you can’t get anyone when you really need them. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

I had to fight for three months and call NUMEROUS times to finally get propane..and the driver shows on the wrong day! So wait another week! Prepaid amount I could afford. Then they sent another driver to "top off my tank" while I was at work. I did NOT order this propane let alone at premium cold weather prices. Called to have this taken care of, was told she would "look into it and call me back". I never recieved the call back! Got another bill today with a late charge for gas I did NOT order!!!! Tried to call was on hold for an hour and a half just to be disconnected! Tried to call back and they are not taking any more calls today..10: 30am on a Tuesday! UNACCEPTABLE!!!
