Lived in Pell City a number of years and this was a regular place to visit to relax and enjoy. The park has a nice walking trail around the edge of the park, boat ramp, man-made beach, picnic areas, restrooms, and a children's play area. You can relax at the beach, swim, fish or boat. There are also a number of planned activities throughout the year.
Playground: A wooden "castle" playground for kids is located near the center of the park.
Toilets: Nice and clean located in the center of the park

Amazing, clean, and family friendly park! The paved walking trail is really nice, and the playground is the coolest one I’ve seen around. Highly recommend!

Lake is alright not much cooling off in the water because it is just as warm. Didn't see any fish.

My granddaughters love this place. Has playground and splash pad. I wish they had more pavilions and or seating.

Nice wooden castle playground. Decent size. Restroom was clean. Picnic tables by playground had to be rented.

This is one of the ONLY parks I have visited that has a restroom that is always clean and well stocked. The playground is beautiful and is built for children of all ages as well as for mom's with small babies to swing and play. The big playground also has swings for children with disabilities. The playground is always clean and safety is first with padding and mulch to prevent serious accidents from falls. There are so many activities to choose from or availability to stay all day and do them all! You can choose the splash pad, swimming or fishing in the lake, riding or walking the trails, the playgrounds, picnicking or finding a shady spot and simply sitting and grounding yourself with a good book and snacks. In today's economy, Lakeside provides hours of fun activities completely free and people who visit are nice enough to keep areas clean and trash free. I hope it stays that way.
Playground: Awesome playgrounds. Very kid friendly for kids of all ages as well as disability accessible.
Toilets: VERY CLEAN!
Dog-friendliness: Nice shady walking paths and has plenty of areas to place doggy waste.
