Dumbest check in process. Appt time 1900. I’m 4th truck in line at guard shack. Once I get to guard shack I am informed someone should have met me at my truck to assign door number. First time here for me and I drive truck, I Do Not Read Minds. So I am forced to go to end of line. These people are a special kind of inbred idiots.

Do NOT go-to gate or get in line until 1 hour before your appt. Parking at end of road for waiting. Otherwise not bad. 3rd time here. Staff is friendly.

McLane is extremely slow and inefficient! They don't deserve the 1 star that google required me to give them. I arrived at 9:35pm for my 10pm appointment and there was a long line of trucks already waiting to check in at that point. I got in line and finally made it up to the guard shack to check in at 12:05am. They eventually got me unloaded and I received paperwork at 5:45am. Hopefully I won't have to go back there ever again!

Very unprofessional the security guards say one thing then there's another. Drivers which are rude they think they can skip you as well. I explained to the guy what the driver did, he ignored me and gave him a door instead. First time here I pray it's my last when I say I'm upset I'm furious and this was the Mclane guy who gave out the doors. I feel like because I'm woman they tried to get over and do what ever and say whatever. Hope management read reviews are fix the problem. There's no order it's just A MESSSSSSSS out front, my appt was for 22:00 didn't leave until 5:47a.m. the next morning ???? if I could have goven 0 stars i would have

Could be worse. They'll take you early if it's not too busy, I guess. I was out before my apt time, spent there between 4 and 5 hours.Guard shack guy thinks he's too cool to say hello or be any kind of nice. ?

Arrived about 17:30 for a 22:00 appointment. Trucks were already lined up all the way to the intersection..They started receiving trucks at about 19:30. Around 22:45 I finally reached the receiving gate and was told to pull up and park to the side because they did not have a door available. Around 22:30 I was given a door and at 03:31 I was finally given a lumper fee.In my opinion this is WAY to slow and just runs down a drivers clock. The only good thing is that the security guard was nice, friendly and helpful.

Honestly I was unsure about this place because such bad reviews .. but I pulled in at 9:10 pm for a 10pm appointment there was no line .. I got a door immediately. Great space for backing , Started bumping the trailer immediately . Guy at the guard shack was nice . Had a good sense of humor .. lol .. portable potty’s for restroom .. they were ACTUALLY clean . Usually I’m like hell no but it was luckily clean and stocked with germ ex even haha and toilet paper .. lol shocking . Long story short I got my paper work by 12am and was out ..no lumper fee. And I read up on had to have ya doors open when u left but guy at shack on way out didn’t even check the trailer . Parking on both sides of the rd . I parked to finish my sleep. Yall stay blessed this place ain’t that bad .. oh and the guy said they start receiving at 7pm now first come first serve .. as long as ya appointment is that day. :)

Even the people at Walmart don't take 5 hrs too give you your paperwork after 40 minutes of Unloading your trailer. RidiculousDon't go here, how complicated is it to inventory water, and not even a truck load

Pros:- Overnight parking on street.- First come, first serve check-in (line)- Very polite, respectful & friendly guardsCons:- Can only be unloaded on scheduled day of your appointment (No early unloading). If your appointment is not on the schedule for that day, you will be turned away.- No restroomsTip: Try your best to arrive as early as possible prior to your appointment (preferably 5-6hrs). If there’s not already a line, count your lucky stars because best believe there will be a long one later. There will be a line on both sides of the entrance gate. If arrived early, your best bet is joining/forming the line on the left-side of the entrance gate because there will be a “check-in” car driving around coming to trucks asking for delivery paperwork checking to see if your appointment number is on the schedule & assigning doors. He will always start with the line on the left-side of the entrance gate so those trucks will enter first. Afterwards he will move to the line on the right-side of the entrance gate.Appointment: 21:00 (Reefer); Arrived: 15:30 (4th in line)Joined line on left-side of entrance gate - The “check-in” car came & knocked on door to ask for paperwork @ 19:20 - Received door assignment P3 & told to drive to guard shack - Checked-in with guards - signed paperwork - took seal off trailer - put both into envelope to be placed in back of trailer before docking.Once docked - started hearing & feeling trailer being unloaded @ 21:25.Unloading process completed @2330 (Received paperwork)- Did not have a lumper fee.

Got here at 6pm cause they said there was a line on the reviews. No line, security told us to park on the side of the street and someone would come out and get us. We get in the door at about 7pm. We were finished at 8pm. We waited till 10:40pm for them to count stuff and send us the lumper fee ($300ish). We pay that, wait for them to unlock us, but they don’t. They start loading us with something. It’s 11:40pm now, they just unlocked us and we are waiting on the BOL.Update: Finally got the BOL at 12:06am. The pallet was extra and they wrote it down for return on the BOL—so much for our next pre-plan.

Whoever was driving the truck with trailer #531692 September 11,23 needs to have their license revoked. At approximately 5:35 cst, they pulled out and went across 2 lanes at the corner of Stateline rd and 231. Myself and another car had a green light traveling north when this person almost made us wreck. Hopefully you will take this serious.

Working security here has got to be the best job on the planet! Not only can you work at the pace of an Alabama HS dropout while there is a line of trucks waiting to the highway …. You can watch tiktoks while on duty and still get paid! ?? lumper was slow to get started but knocked out my trailer decently fast.
