If I can give this place, a half star rating I would. My husband went to purchase a vehicle from here yesterday went through the whole process got approved and we were getting ready to sign paperwork. I had just come in to sign the finalized paperwork and the man who has all these Corvettes in his little statues. I think his name is John usually they're all named. The old man told us that they weren't willing to take my husband trade. I'm just really confused why we got to the point of signing paperwork and told that the car was ours keys in hand at all to have and turned around to be told. Oh by the way we're not taking your trade you could take your car home, but you can still get this brand new one make it makes sense, this was definitely a sucker move to get my husband a purchase. A vehicle thinking he was just gonna walk away with the new car and the old one.

I went to purchase a vehicle from Tuscaloosa Chevrolet and was told I was approved. Got my wife down there to sign paper work to find out they refused to take my trade. They decided to not let me in on that part until last minute. Like I can afford two car payments.

I do not recommend for anyone to do business with this facility. After weeks of searching for the perfect truck, with the exact specifications I was looking for, I found one here (three hours from me). I called and asked specifically if it was in fact on the lot, and available. It was, they sent me photographs, etc. I told the salesman, Demichael, I wanted the truck. After negotiating, completing the prequalification and getting the approval, etc I again told him I accept the deal, that I wanted the truck and to proceed with finalizing the paperwork. Over an hour later, after I'd went to the bank and drew out the cash for down payment, secured a ride to take me to Tuscaloosa, etc ,the salesman calls me and tells me they sold the truck to someone else. I feel the minute I told him I was interested in the truck, to the point of immediately beginning the process of purchasing, that truck should have been reserved and held for me. When I called back and complained to a manager (Bobby, or Bubba...I couldn't understand him), all he could say is "That's how we operate here. Our sales people don't keep up with each other and the deals they're making with someone else". My experience with this dealership was very disappointing. In my opinion, they have terrible business practice. ~ David Pugh ~

Brought my truck in for parasitic draw issues on Monday after making an appointment. Call Tuesday for an update and get told they haven't even looked at it yet. I understand being busy and all but what is the point of making an appointment then? Instead of telling me to just leave it why not tell me to bring it in the next day? Then get told there's no parasitic draw and they replaced the battery that I replaced 2 weeks ago. I say fine. Whatever. Still wasn't able to pick it up and not answering calls for updates for days. Today on Friday I finally said I'm picking it up because I need it. If there's no parasitic draw and you replaced the battery and everything's fine. I'll take my truck back. I go to pick it up, pay 230 bucks for the new battery. Go to start my truck in their lot and it's dead. So tell me what did I really pay for? Did I pay for a dead battery? Had them jump it and said I'll figure it out myself. Telling me there's no parasitic draw issues when you can clearly see power dropping when it's off... 4 days to change a battery and tell me they don't know what's wrong. A scummy mechanic would have atleast made sure the battery was charged before I pulled off the lot.

Went to get an estimate on my truck about trading it in. They take my truck and we go looking around. I've already told the salesmen I don't want anything brand new, the first thing he shows me is the most expensive truck (which I understand he's just doing his job I'm just giving the whole experience), I tell him I just can't spend that kind of money and I can't finance more than 30-40k. Well he continues showing me 5 more trucks at prices from 55-70 thousand dollars. Finally I say "do y'all have any used vehicles" he replies not many our inventory is low. Well I point at the truck I noticed and said "what about that one?" He says yeah that one's for sale. So we go look and test drive and it's a decent truck at a fair price, a little high, but a fair price for a dealership anyways. We get back and they do their calculating. They offer me 13,000 dollars. I drive a truck worth (according to kbb) anywhere from 18-22 thousand TRADE IN. Not private party, trade in. I really didn't want to do it so I'm making excuses saying I need to sleep on it and I need to talk to my wife. A few moments later he says "oh you need to get permission from your wife?" Then I say no I just like to get her input. He goes back and gets the manager. Well he's just as arrogant if not more than the salesman. They wonder why their reviews are so bad it's bc they don't respect the buyer. Probably the worst experience I've had at a dealership before

I bought my first new car here. They are a no nonsense type of dealership and the prices are fair and they're honest with you about the price and how much you'll probably end up paying. I've looked at cars here before and didn't buy and they aren't the type to harass you. James and Tyler were great with helping my complete my trade in and working with me to get me in a new vehicle

Won't sell cars to you if you live out of state and don't return calls. Bought what I needed elsewhere. Will never call this place again.

Great buying experience last year, but this year I am extremely disappointed in them. I was told I would be charged an extra $2,500.00 for a new Tahoe because I don’t live in Tuscaloosa, don’t have a trade, and won’t be financing with them (that is false). They are putting extra profits above customer needs at a time like this and that is sad. I will not be buying from them again.

Tony Johnson was the best! From the time he greeted me to delivering my truck he was always quick to answer my questions and help me through my buying process. His knowledge and expertise helped me make the best decision for me and my family.

Please save your time and go ANYWHERE else. Extremely unhelpful people. They should not have a service department! Waste of time.

Do not go to Tuscaloosa Chevrolet!!!! I agree with everyone else's low ratings! I would give them a Zero if I could! Extremely rude, rude, rude! Customer service manager used words I cannot put on the Internet after my mother told him that we had a death in the family. I would never, never, never, never, never go to this dealership!!!!!
