1101 Southview Ln, Tuscaloosa“We live over an hour away from any Publix supermarket and the local grocery stores in our area unfortunately lack many of the products we've grown to love. On our way back from a trip to Dollywood, we decided to stop at the Publix at Market Center in Tuscaloosa.
Now, we've always had positive experiences with Publix - their customer service is consistently top-notch. However, this time, the service was beyond extraordinary. A young lady named Brianna, who was restocking the dairy section, went out of her way to help me find a specific yogurt I usually buy. She kindly offered to check the backroom for me and came out with a case of the specialty yogurt I use to take my medication.
Not only was everyone in the store kind and helpful, but Brianna went above and beyond in her assistance. I was so impressed by her service that I approached a manager, Anastasia, to commend Brianna's efforts. Anastasia proved to be just as pleasant and helpful.
But the superior service didn't stop inside the store. Outside, my wife and son were walking our dogs, who were enjoying a large bowl of water. It turns out, a young man named Alex, another Publix employee, had seen them and offered to get our dogs some water.
In summary, this was easily the best shopping experience we've had. The level of customer service at Publix at Market Center in Tuscaloosa was truly exceptional and made our long trip worthwhile.”
“Absolutely love this store, we do not come to Tusc., AL without stopping by. Staff is always willing to assist. If you're looking for organic items, teas, herbs, fresh fruit and vegetables, vitamins, seaweed, tofu, frozen foods, tinctures, body scrubs, balms, essential oils, natural deodorant, and so much more!!”
“It’s a rare treat to get excited going to a grocery store, but this one is just that. The store is bright and clean and well stocked with everything. The aisles are wide enough to not be a one-way road. This is the largest Publix in this part of Alabama and there was nothing I could not find. Even some weird woman that had to squeeze every avocado found the six she needed. It was surreal. The store was bright and staff was everywhere to help. When the two lines of checkouts were full, a kind young man said he would check us through the express line since it was empty even though we had a few more than 10 items. We drove the extra miles for the organic products and they were everywhere. There was not an empty shelf anywhere. And ALL the staff were smiling and cordial…
We drove about an hour for the visit and it was worth the trip.”
“(Translated by Google) The owner is super friendly, and well, there is a bit of everything. It is a clean place and, above all, it is on the edge of the street.(Original)Super amable la dueña, y pues hay de todo un pocó es un lugar limpio y sobre todo esta en la orilla de la calle”

2300 McFarland Blvd, Northport“Clean, up-scale'ish. Bored, disinterested employees. If you can bump them out of the reverie, employees will be helpful. Good produce, great selection of coffee, clean restrooms!”
“They always have what I need. Prices are reasonably affordable, unlike most groceries nearby. It's been very busy during all of my grocery trips. There is a large wine selection; whereas, beer options are few. I always enjoy the range of German foods and treats to make me feel at home.”
“We recently saw a weekly ad on Facebook for this grocery store with some great deals on meat and had to check it out. We now go at least twice a month to get meat. Recently they had Boston butts for sale at $9.99/per, along with a 5 for 5 veggies, great frozen uncooked chicken patties or nuggets & always a good deal on ground beef and burgers. Great quality meat! (Pictured : scratch made beef stroganoff and fried chicken with roasted potatoes)”
“This store will close their doors for good on July 28th maybe even earlier than that and new tenant is already waiting for this store to close to subdivide this store to Aldi and not sure what the other tenant would be leasing the other half”
“Love The Pig! I had to made a quick stop to pick up a few things quickly and I grabbed a few sale items also! It was really a in and out experience today!
Everything was great and I was very pleased with my shopping trip. Thanks for everything!
“GROCERIES FOR DINNER!””
“The bakery at this location is amazing and clean!! I purchased some cannolis a few weeks ago, they were fresh and delicious it’s hard to find a good cannoli around here and I was super impressed!”

4851 Rice Mine Rd NE #200, Tuscaloosa“Nice store. Went to try their lunch subs. Ordered online, but when picking up the lady I was directed to, it was not very friendly. Sorry, I didn't know there order pickup process but I missed the sign by picking up cheese spread first (good honey goat cheese). She was not listening to me well. I had to say my last name 3 times. After all of not finding my order by name or a # she couldn't use. My hot sandwich was in a special pickup area further down the store. I just apologized got some crackers and got out of there before I got rude. Oh my! The Sandwich was very hot and good with pices individual wrapped.”
“First time I’ve shopped at Piggly Wiggly in decades! Entire staff very friendly and helpful! Pleasantly surprised of the selection & prices. There’s still that ‘old mom & pop store’
feeling while being there. I definitely will be shopping here more often!”
“Came here due to their flower selection at a very nice lady name Meredith help me out with the flowers in depth she went above and beyond even went to the back when I didn’t like anything just for so my girlfriend can get some nice flowers. This place was the best.”

2001 Lurleen B Wallace Blvd, Northport“Great prices, just absent on certain products. They have the majority of essentials. But I went in there One afternoon looking for under pads for my mother. And they don't Carry them. I find that kinda odd. I mean there are many women out there that need those. I had to go to dollar general to get that”
“Store was well organized, staff was friendly. The manager on duty was kind of a little mouthy about the poor guy taking out the garbage he didn’t realize it was leaking. He went to get a mop and she was making such a big deal about it. I didn’t remove a star for this because her behavior doesn’t reflect the store and the company in this instance, but I urge her to have a little patience and understanding in a management role. Poor dude didn’t even know it was leaking and it embarrassed him.”

1190 University Blvd, Tuscaloosa“I Choose Publix for all my shopping needs, especially when it comes to purchasing fresh meat. The employees in this section are always willing to help you find what you need. If they have ran out of the meat that you were looking for, or if you want your meat cut differently they will make sure you leave with just what you wanted. I really appreciate the service I receive when I shop there. They have superior customer service.”
“If I could give this store 6 stars I would. Extremely friendly, helpful, and reasonably priced. Every employee has been incredibly kind. Likes always move quickly and the store is very clean. Honestly the best grocery store i’ve ever been to in my life. I love the Pig!”
“The person who rang me up Sunday afternoon, I wish I had his name. He was sooo nice. He started checking me out and I wanted to add a 20 oz Sprite. He didn't point in the direction. He took me to the refrigerated 20 oz and said would you like regular or diet? Just an Angel. I feel like we are in a world where customer service is lost... I was having a rough day and one kind person can turn it around. I am sorry I didn't get your name. I was the lady in orange jacket. Thank you so very much!!!”
“There's a very polite, friendly and extremely helpful young lady that works the Front-end and her name is Bridget Madison.. I want to personally thank Bridget for her hard work and dedication. God bless y'all”
“The experience was pretty good. I was able to find what I needed and those items I wanted quickly and was in and out in 20 minutes. Had I gone to the regular Walmart I'd be stuck in a long checkout line. If you need just grocery items, toiletries and a few pharmacy items, this is great. South Florida needs these.”
“Went in to stock my freezer and was amazed by what they had in stock!! Couldnt be upset about the prices either because they were fair. Overall, the price I paid for everything I bought, Im happy and will be returning!”
“Always clean. I love the prices. The workers are always awesome. Super friendly and funny. The only thing i wish is that this place had more produce to choose from.”

3506 29th St, Tuscaloosa“The best chicken in town. I must also give a shout out to the owner. He is very supportive of the community. This is great to see. A lot of people open businesses on the Westside, but do not engage in community improvement efforts. Thank you sir, for your generosity to my church.”
“(Translated by Google) It's okay, it's not very expensive like other stores. I recomend you(Original)Esta bien no esta muy caro cómo otras tiendas. Les recomiendo”
“They had everything I wanted an them some. The woman that worked there was very helpful and the store was very clean and they were cooking and man did it smell good !!!”

5225 AL-69 N, Northport“The cashier was friendly and made pleasant conversation while she checked me out. The other employees where working to keep the store clean and organized. This is my favorite store to stop at on my way home from school or on my way home.”
“Hard to really find a fault with any local dollar general stores. All have been clean and squared away. Personal have had a good attitude as well. I always find why I need when I enter one, but I know what to expect to find in there as well.”
“Friendly folks. Fresh meats and items we can't find at other stores. Cottondale is where we usually go. Love the frozen fried steak cuts and the TNTs on a flat top grill !”
