“There is this awesome BBQ place inside called Brookwood BBQ and the food is by far amazing ? Decided on getting their fried pork chop, corn bread and peach cobbler ?? they sell a variety of things, actually too many to mention but it's all delicious ??.. Also everyone is really friendly and quick, great team ? but hopefully you can get here before lunch time cuz there is usually a good decent size line at that time.. I would definitely say this place is worth going to.. I ordered my food around 9:30 a.m. so if you can get here earlier than lunch time it's the best time..???”

“I was able to get in and out quickly for fuel. The deli was barren so I had to go to the main building for something to eat. Still was able to limit my time at the truck stop to what was needed.”

“I've noticed a war in these reviews so I came to start speaking some truth about what I've experienced here. Most of the workers here have a tad bit of a smart mouth.. but they only use it with a select few customers that jokingly use the same tone back. And you can tell that they all find it funny. But, I have seen a rude CUSTOMER start a conversation with the newest cashier. (I'm assuming that's Casey) and she did exactly what I would've done in the situation.. the customer is NOT always right and personally, I would've asked them to leave. But you could see she held her tongue checked them out, fixed the small problem that occurred and told them to have a nice day. I don't know what's been going on there for all these bad reviews to be happening so suddenly.. but it looks like it's a personal thing that shouldn't be turned into a Google review war because this just looks childish.”

“If your in need of some good eats, head their way! A lot of gas stations have a hot deli.. This Texaco has a HIT DELI. Good customer service. Good prices. Great selection. I work nights and days near by, frequently find myself at night leaving work at 4 or 5AM. Instead of fast-food, I will wait until they are open at 5AM.Breakfast centered (in the AM), but in addition, they have multiple protein options. You can easily build yourself a delicious night shift dinner. I’m very glad I found this place!Thank you ladies!See you soon!”

“The people there are great. Corrected a mistake without any problems. I acted like a j*** at first when it happened. The cashier kept her cool, thankfully. When I presented what happened to the manager like the young lady said all was made whole. I need to apologize for my rudeness at first. They are gracious honest people and I created confusion when I checked out, I will try to be nicer when an honest mistake is made.”

“Everything was clean! Usually at other truck stops, they barely have lines for the truckers to park. Not to mention the driveway and parking lots have many holes! This one had nice visible lines and they were pressure washing the fuel isles that get really gross!”

“I enjoy the Pilot Travel Centers. I shop at the one located at: 4416 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405. I find some great deal and sales there all the time. Only issue I have with them is the Rewards App vs the Rewards Card. In the app if you buy a fountain drink or a fountain coffee and scan the bar code on your phone the icon for a drink pops up in seconds, but if you use you card and buy a drink and then later look on the app, it doesn't show where you got the drink. On the app if you buy 9fountain drinks or coffees you get the 10th free. I was told to call the pilot customer center to fix it. Other than that small issue; I truly enjoy the deals I find at Pilot.”
