If I could give negative stars it would be. '-- 5. I hired this mechanic to inspect a truck I was considering to buy in the local area. The expectation was for him to do a complete inspection and pull an oil sample and forward all data to me. I paid him good money for his service expecting he would fulfill his obligation. After his so called inspection was completed I repeatedly tried to contact him for the results. 2 days passed and on the day I traveled to Alabama I again asked him to forward the inspection report so I knew what he observed. Whenever he would respond which was not often he would assure me the report would be immediately sent which never happened. Today is the day he promised me the oil analysis results and not surprisingly no report. The salesman who waited for him to complete the test said he was there no more than 45 minutes and did not see him pull an oil sample. I would never use this service again and advise others to avoid using his company based on my experience

My family and I are moving cross - country to NC. As we were getting into Tuscaloosa for the night stop, my 06 Dodge Ram 3500 dually turb diesel started throwing a code. We got off the highway, cleared the code to see if it would throw the code again. It didn't. As we were getting ready to head out the next morning, another code was thrown. We called first thing, woke the poor gentleman up and he came out right away. He checked for the code, checked my truck and discovered the fan clutch (true to second code) had gone out. Since we had our own tools and Advanced Autoparts was literally around the corner, he showed us how to fix the simple fix ourselves, to save some $$$ and didnt charge us for the check or advice. He told us if we had any issues replacing it, to call him back. My Husband ran to Advanced and got the part, and shortly after, the gentleman called back to check on us and said if we needed help, to call him back and he'd send a mechanic out right away. So, if you happen to have any vehicle issues around Burmingham, AL call West Alabama and speak to Josh- I cant say enough how amazing he was!!!

called to have my 7.3l diesel oil cooler fixed and he said he could do it the next day at 11. called him multiple times the next day and nobody would answer. waisted 30 minutes of travel to find out the address is a house not a repair shop.
