“I mostly use the online features at the Walmart I shop. When I go into the store I have to deal with long lines and people standing in the aisles having long winded discussions. That's why I prefer to have Walmart do the shopping for me and deliver my groceries to my car or home.
I've only had a few hiccups with delivery orders, but all were handled quickly and corrected in the app.
I have noticed that it's the other customers & not the employees that cause me frustration when I shop in store.
I will say that shelf stocking could be straightened more often, but that's not the fault if the employees it's the customers being disruptive by moving things and not placing items back where they belong.
I do believe that cashier operated registers should be opened simply to help shorten the wait time for customers that know how to use a self-checkout or scan & go. The congestion at check out is horrendous. Yet again, this is mostly the customers not knowing how to work the registers or simply moving as slow as humanly possible.
In conclusion, it is not the employees at Walmart who make the experience less than enjoyable; it is the customers. To avoid this experience I suggest you download the app. There are free features you can use, but if you choose to you can pay for Walmart plus and get even more benefits. Also, if you receive EBT you can get a discount on your membership. I pay $6.99 per month and it's worth it to have free delivery, discounts on fuel, Paramount +, & the ability to shop sales early. There are other benefits and discounts offered, I just don't utilize them.”
