I needed a new stove. I checked Lowe's, Best Buy and Home Depot and it was going to take two weeks from the first two stores and one week from the third store to even get one delivered. I heard about Chavis, so we went there. We were greeted when we walked through the door and the salesclerk was very helpful. They had them in stock and we purchased it, and it was the same price or cheaper than the previous stores. I will definitely be back.

Best furniture and appliance store around!! Ken and his staff are full of honesty, integrity, and passion for what they do. They are an incredible team of people who genuinely care about their customers and what is best for the customer. They will forever treat you like family, even after the sale! You cannot go wrong with trusting Chavis Furniture!

Amazing service and an incredible price for a home generator - I just wish there were more stars available. Specifically, Tom Solley was able to beat the prices from the other 5 estimates (yes, I got 6) by thousands of $. He arranged the installation which went perfectly and then followed up on the warranty from Generac. Best price and service I've ever had!

We underwent a kitchen renovation and needed a new dishwasher and oven with a cooktop. We found Chavis through my brother and sister-in-law and were delightfully surprised by the selection, quality, service, and prices. In addition to delivery, they hauled off the old appliances. Previously, we had bought our appliances from Sears, Home Depot, and Lowe's. Chavis Furniture (and Appliances) made forever loyal customers out of us and we live on the Eastern Shore. Worth the drive from anywhere.

My wife and I recently moved from the Chicago area to Semmes, and we needed a washer/dryer for our new house. While I was still in Chicago, my wife started a dialogue with Tom, a very very nice representative from Chavis. Chavis was the only one who had the Speed Queen washer/dryers we needed, and Tom knew that, and was super friendly and accommodating. He warned me that I would have to order them as soon as possible once in Alabama, because, like everything, it would be delayed due to supply chain problems. It only took a month to order them and get them here, but by the 4th week we were swimming in dirty laundry. I sent Tom an email and told him this, and he squeezed me in for a faster delivery and installation. Not only was Tom professional and incredibly helpful, talking to me before I'd even shown up here in Alabama, but he was super helpful even after the sale, helping my wife pick out the right appliances for future purchases. All of this was sight unseen. I've never met Tom in person, and we've not even been to the store yet. Tom did all of this through a very lengthy, very friendly email exchange. I'm so thankful for Tom, because in a place where it's hard to even get a plumber or HVAC tech to come out, Tom hooked us up with some very hard-to-find appliances surprisingly quickly. He was also very funny, and very personable, cracking jokes and making a very tough move easier before we'd even gotten here. I just can't thank Tom and Chavis enough. You have a life-long customer in me.

Was greeted almost immediately, however it wend down hill from there. I started comparing prices with Home Depot and Lowes, they didn't like that, they were about $10 cheaper on a washer and dryer they were very intent on selling me the warranty. I said I didn't need the warranty be a it was for a winter home and would only be used 3-6 months a year, they were very dismissive, started complaining about my kids playing on the recliners. I was asked to "get control of my (almost 3yo) children". Benson appliances is better priced anyways and I trust Home Depot/Lowes when/if they needed to be repaired. I'm more mad that I wasted the fuel to drive across the bay!

We purchased a brand new ice maker from this company and it did not work. The store required us to go through the manufacture who has now ordered parts and is waiting on them to fix the new ice maker. You would think they would have did an in store return within 30 days. This is a terrible experience
