I highly advise against anyone from going here. They may have had excellent service once before, but this is no longer case. I had a 1000.00 dollars worth of work done on my vehicle, when the problem still persisted less than 2 weeks later, the owner refused to make it right. He "looked at it" and denied it was from his work, when I haven't had anyone else work on the truck since. Now I have a truck I'm nervous to drive and have to figure out how to cough up another 1000.00 or more to get someone else to fix what they never resolved. DO NOT GO TO PRECISION AUTO.
Update as of 11-20-23, I have taken my truck to another shop in Pelham, "Riverchase Auto Repair", they have found a slew of issues that was caused by the repair made by Precision, to include "cutting out my exhaust, then re-welding it to by pass stripped out screws. Not installing all the transmission bolts back on to the motor, causing it to torque when excelerating." Riverchase has had for two weeks trying to fix all the problems, Precision has caused to my vehicle. It's going to cost me an additional 2200.00 to fix what should have been a 1200.00 repair.

Protect yourself!!!!! If you are brave enough to try this route.... Do yourself a favor- ask for a DETAILED printed receipt that lists the work you're paying for and make sure it states what's covered and for how long it will be under the "warranty of work". Parts covered? For how long? Labor? At all, even? Insist on this BEFORE YOU PAY & drive away with your "fixed" car. If you don't have this, what leg will you stand on? You won't be able to raise concerns with the owner and you'll also find yourself screwed or up a creek with no paddle when you (very likely) find out from another mechanic - just how shotty the work that was supposedly done here... actually was completed. This is the best advice I can give anyone entertaining taking your car here other than...maybe try another repair shop all together if you can.

Found Precision Auto (Centreville) on google search four years ago (2019) and have yet to be dissatisfied. As one who uses vehicles for subcontracting heavy product while traveling long miles, it’s great to have a reliable place to keep them serviced.Services: Transmission

Wanted to leave a better review for this place as they did a good job on our brakes, and gave decent quotes on other things we needed done. Only issue is we brought in a key fob remote with our car keys that was not attached to the keys and it was not left in the car or given back to us. Not a big deal but I called a few days later to ask if it might be lying around and the only answer we got was “we don’t work on remotes” about three times when that’s not what I was asking at all, I finally gave up as it was not a big deal. Good service just make sure your key fob is attached to its chain or you won’t get it back.Service: Auto brake repair

They do great work! Found a serious problem from a repair done at another mechanic shop. Tie rod was not fastened down, created bald front tires and was dangerous. Won’t go anywhere else but here from now on.
