“Shell does not price gouge customers on gas prices like Citgo does on holidays. I went to citgo on Christmas Day night to get gas and cigarettes. The gas there was $2.99⁹/gal. which I had noticed a couple of days before was $2.79⁹/gal. A friend had asked while i was out, could I please pick up a loaf of bread and 1/2 gal of milk. Citgo had no bread and only a couple of 1/2 gal milk, which was $5.44 (for 1/2 gal. ??). I went to Shell station to see if they had bread. To my aggravation, they didn't have bread either, but what aggravated me was I had just filled up with gas from Citgo, and the gas at Shell was still $2.79⁹/ gal. The cashier had no idea there was a price difference. I kind of felt cheated by Citgo. I will have to start checking around a little more before I start pumping.”
