If it's raining you're probably going to get wet, only the front door has cover and they ask you to enter either the side or back door that stay locked. Continental breakfast was very generic, on the lower end of the scale where taste is concerned. Good thing there are other options nearby. The rooms were clean, there was a decent little exercise room, there were snacks for sale near the front desk and vending machines.Rooms: Rooms near rear door slam all night making it impossible to get a good night sleep. Avoid if you care about sleep.

Up front issue .... I paid a bit more than I might have liked here.That said..... the hotel is where i would like it to be. it is a convenient location for travelers like me. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. My room and bed were comfortable and clean. the breakfast was unusually nice and a bit of a happy surprise. The breakfast attendant was really pleasant and accommodating. (attendants are rare at hotel breakfast buffets in my experience... much less pleasant!)So.... a bit pricy, perhaps ($25 more than I was expecting), but a good nights stay and yes... I would stay there again at this price.Safety: No safety issues

Beds are a little on the firm side. Coffee will stand up and walk off in the mornings. Really just need scrambled eggs, regular sausage and croissants every morning. Staff is always first class.

I want to say thank you to the whole crew of this hotel. Unfortunately this last trip wasn’t a normal trip down south for my husband & I. My granddaughter had passed away and we had to go take care of things. The love , peace, respect, & empathy we got from the members of this hotel was amazing. I can’t thank yall enough for being so kind to my family. The support you gave us anything we needed yall were there. Thank you to the hotel manager & Kim Mcconaghy for all you did for us. I can’t remember everyone’s names I know the tall guy on 3 rd shift was amazing and friendly. The ladies in the kitchen that cooked breakfast & coffee. The lady at front desk with the blonde hair that had to rest our keys because we was extending our stay thank u! It’s not everywhere you go and a business makes you feel like family. But this one did and I will stay here every time we come to south Alabama this is my home hotel. The beds were soft so when we could finally sleep we did get sleep. Very clean, safe , quiet most of all. Please let everyone know this is the best hotel and we thank all of you!

A great place to stay. Super friendly staff. Not only did it have a clean smell but it was actually very clean. Beds were awesome - best nights sleep since I started the trip with my mom a couple of days ago. The breakfast choices were great. Hot breakfast- cheese omelettes, blueberry or original Belgian waffles, fresh fruit, and so much more. If you can't find something to eat for breakfast then you are not hungry.

We were driving from MD to MS, and stopped for the night (a Wednesday) at approximately 9:15 PM. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast options were better than expected! Light and Dark Roast coffee, too.

Every Hampton manager should take a look at the Calera breakfast bar. It is without, the best I have ever experienced. The manager there is doing an outstanding job.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and can't help but share my positive experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful surprise; there was a variety of tasty options that ensured a great start to each day.The cleanliness of the rooms was remarkable. It's evident that the housekeeping staff takes pride in their work, as everything was spotless and well-maintained. I felt comfortable and relaxed in my room, which is essential for any traveler.The standout feature of this hotel, however, was its staff. Every employee I encountered was not only professional but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure my needs were met and that I had an enjoyable stay.In summary, my experience at this hotel was excellent. With a delicious breakfast, pristine rooms, and a genuinely welcoming staff, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.
