“This is my go to gas station in the afternoons because it is easy to get in and out of, is very well lit, and has a large variety of convenience items. It also has a well stocked liquor store and ethanol free gas. Must treat their employees well too because the same folks have been working there in the afternoons since the opened.”

“Can’t type enough positive words about this location but I’ll try. People ? Absolutely wonderful human beings working as a team. Food ? WoW , best tacos in a hundred miles easy.Environment ? Clean , very clean.The owners are wonderful and treat the team members like family. This is now my full time convenience store and Mexican restaurant. Thank you very much Mirika and Kayla - you’re both wonderful. I gave five stars because there wasn’t an option for ten. This is the new PB near the RR tracks in Calera and the bonus is there is a liquor store too lol.”

“I was certain I had reviewed this QT before now. I have come here a few times and it's always been a good experience. Recently I stopped here on Christmas (12/25/23) to get some coffee and gas up. They offer a variety of coffee blends , which I appreciated. I selected Columbia blend and it was delicious. Of course, they also have made to order food and snacks, snacks and more snacks. The restrooms are always clean. Nice working gas pumps. Friendly staff and most importantly, located right off the interstate. I just wish it was a little more lighted but it's not horrible.”

“The food is very good, if you go around lunch time. If you are going after work, you should. probably wait until after 4 when they cook fresh food. Some of the items left over from lunch get a little dry. If you would be willing to wait, they would probably cook up some fresh items. Also, the phone number listed on their receipts and website is NOT a working number.”

“Been here a few times. Most recently as of 12/25 .. Christmas Day! Yes, we needed to grab a few soft drinks , so my niece and I came here. The gentleman (the owner) who assisted us was really nice and very friendly. He really made having to come out to go to a gas station on Christmas Day not so dreadful.”

“Red onion restaurant omg the food is so amazing. It's one of my favorite places and the ladies are amazing. The guy in the gas station is nice also. Chicken n steak quesadillas are the best you'll ever taste. Recommend anyone looking for great amazing food to stop by.”

“After paying $5.10 for gas in Florida, seeing $4.34 then paying $4.31 a gallon with my loyalty program with Mapco was a great surprise on my way back from the beach. This Mapco is a lot smaller than the one on 280, but you can't beat these prices! I'll definitely have to remember this location if I'm ever in Calera.”

“Nice, clean place for a pit stop. Diesel is on an outside pump and there is room to circle around behind the store if you're hauling a long trailer. The lady inside was very nice and adept at managing both the store side and the subway side, though it would have moved faster if they had an extra person in there at mealtimes. Adding this to my list of favorite places to stop!”

“This is a great local gas station! Prices are reasonable, bathrooms are clean. There is a large selection of snacks and drinks, and a surprisingly decent beer and wine selection. The staff is very friendly. They also have a car wash! I go out of my way to get gas here :)”

“Murphy USA - Calera has recently come to be one of my favorite stops for fuel in this area along I-65. It's an easy-off easy-on quick fuel up, and on my way I go. This location is open early and late, and is price competitive. Why go miles out of my way in search of the best gas price, when I can just stop off at Murphy USA within a short block of I-65? Turning right toward Hwy 31 out of Murphy USA puts you back at the exit headed towards I-65. Murphy USA has all the usual grades of fuel, snacks and drinks - but no inside store at this location.”
