I have brought several items from this place but this time I purchased a mattress and a dresser my husband and I haven’t gotten a good night sleep the mattress has a defective it sinks really bad and my dresser is broken those people only care about making a sale now I’m having to go to the doctor because my shoulder and back was hurting so bad from this mattress that we pay over $1000 for and they don’t even care to replace it.

I've purchased several pieces of furniture from Alabama Furniture Market in Calera, Alabama. Since my first visit there I've received good service. From all the furniture and home items that I've seen & purchased there, it is all top quality merchandise. Their prices are very competitive and that is one reason you'll usually find their parking area packed. That's not saying they don't have plenty of parking. They do. The selection of their vast inventory will probably yield what you're looking for. It ranges from ultra modern to that old world look. My last purchase was made via website & phone. When I arrived after renting a large truck with a lift gate, they explained that one of the items in the set I wanted wasn't available due to a broken piece that the warehouse manager had discovered when double checking everything before I arrived. This was very disheartening, but to make this short, the staff that worked with me made everything right. I ended up with a better set at a much lower price than if I had chosen it originally. If I had gone into the store instead of buying online, what I got is probably what I would have picked anyway, so it was a win-win. Clean, friendly store with a nice selection! This is an easy 5 stars across the board.

I have shopped @ AFM previously and always had a good experience. This time was different through no fault of AFM. The furniture manufacturer sent a defective product. My sales person, Bella, was excellent and patient with me throughout the process and the Cust. Service Mgr., River was very professional in resolving the situation.

Taking a nap at the furniture store turned out to be an unexpectedly pleasant experience. As I strolled through the aisles, testing out couches and beds, fatigue began to set in. That's when I spotted a cozy-looking sofa that practically called my name.I settled into the plush cushions, and it was like sinking into a cloud of comfort. The store's soft lighting and soothing ambiance made it even more inviting. The gentle hum of shoppers in the background added a lullaby-like quality to the atmosphere.I closed my eyes, intending to rest for just a moment, but the next thing I knew, I was drifting into a peaceful slumber. The sofa cradled me in its embrace, and I was transported to a realm of tranquility.My nap felt like a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I awoke feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, with a newfound appreciation for the quality of the furniture on display. It was as though the sofa had whispered promises of restful nights and lazy Sunday afternoons.As I left the store, I couldn't help but smile at the serendipitous nap that had added an unexpected layer of enjoyment to my furniture shopping trip. If only all stores offered such comfortable reprieves, I thought, I might be more inclined to shop for furniture more often.

Wish I didn't have to give the low rating, but am doing so with regard to their not standing behind a defective piece of furniture. We made a substantial purchase of several pieces (large sectional, large ottoman, two high end recliners). Only one (a large ottoman) has an issue with not holding up, a large indention/sagging has developed across the top, even though it has only been sat on a dozen times at most. The pieces are in a room that we rarely use, as can be evidenced by the sectional still looking brand new and even the fabric on the ottoman still looking new as well. Because the warranty by the manufacturer (Jackson Furniture) has expired (per the store), the store says they can't/won't do anything other than tell us how we can order parts and fix it ourselves. I strongly suggest going elsewhere for furniture and also staying away from the Jackson brand of furniture Really disappointing.

We came here from the Tuscaloosa area to look for a couch. We loved the selection and we got excellent service from Yoselin. We ended up buying a sectional, an ottoman, and a beautiful accent table for under our TV. We will definitely stop here again whenever we're looking for furniture in the future.

ELANA MCKINNON is the sales person/ decorator that spent SO much time with us and she is absolutely AWESOME. She is extremely knowledgeable about brands, products, and has a keen eye for design. While purchasing furniture can be daunting, it is not with Elena ! As she works very hard for her customers and is very personable and makes the process fun and easy! Coming from a furniture background myself, I was so happy to have an honest, smart sales associate that can really put together ideas that make sense. I've not purchased yet but Elena was so easy to work with, I do not want to go anywhere else. I have confidence in her and the company she works for. Thank you so much Elana.
