With not many good people to trust out there now a days, Rich is a righteous and stand out dude for the service and dedication he puts in to making sure everything is right and how it should be with your vehicle. I owe him a lot for the help and care over he provided me and I will not have my cars looked at by anyone else.And he comes out to you with all the tools to do the job...no brainierThank you Rich!

I've used Richie in the past and currently.He's very knowledgeable about anything having to do with car repairs.He's a very nice person and easy to work with. He not only fixes your current problems but he also alerts you to other things that may be needed in the future and his pricing is very fair.Richie is reliable, professional, provides quotes for the work to be performed and has your car back to you in reasonable order.I highly recommend him!

Rich is an amazing, honest, hardworking Mechanic! Probably the last few of his kind, He's a pro at his profession, and is the only Mechanic my family and I will come to when it comes to our car problems! I can confidently say he is the only person who's car advice I can trust! Recently I purchased my first older truck, a 1993 Silverado, although I love the truck, it came with its own issues, it was dropping oil all over my driveway! But Richie worked hard and endlessly to fix that issue for me, and he even managed to fix my camber issue, which I was told by other shops would require an entire new suspension rebuild, which I had already done, scammy as hell! But Richie knows his stuff, and he fixed it effortlessly without replacing my already new suspension! Even found some other maintenance issues that we can take care of for the truck! Thanks Rich!! If you ever are in need of a mechanic or any work done on your car, Richie is the only guy I would recommend 100%, keep doing your thing Rich!

I have sporadically had Rich work on my car over the last 10 years (about 4 times in 10 years). For the services he does, he is skilled, and his prices are low. The best part is the 'mobile' part, of course. That he comes to you, rather than you going somewhere, is a huge convenience. That he chats with you while he works, explaining what he does, is also good for those interested. As a mobile mechanic, he obviously can't lift a car off the ground, so you have to recognize the realistic range of services he performs. Brake pads, transmission fluid change, spark plugs, etc. The few negative reviews here seem to be unrelated to him working on their car. Five stars.

I'm going through my mid life crisis. I had sold my 1965 GT Fastback that I had owned for my whole life when my kids were about four years old. They are now 24 and 22 years old and my wife agreed to let me buy another one. Not only did I buy a 65 GT FB, but I also bought a 1970 Boss 302 because like I said, I'm going through a mid life crisis and always wanted one. My Boss 302 clutch went out on the way home from the East Coast where I bought it. My regular mechanic was busy and normally only works on BMW's and my red GT had been sitting for a few months at his shop so I needed to find a new mechanic to help out. I went online and searched and luckily found Richie Rich after reading all the reviews (yes even the one negative). I wasn't going to marry the guy I just needed to know if he could fix my car. He showed up on time and was very responsive. He got to work right away and pulled the clutch assembly apart. He had to remanufacture the replacement clutch assembly to do the job correctly because the previous mechanic rigged it to "just make it work". I want things done correctly. He then gave me the name of his muffler/exhaust guy and had any future problems solved. He showed up there to make sure it was done properly and further adjust the clutch since it was on a lift. Since fixing the clutch issue I'm having him replace the power steering hoses which are leaking because it was clamped when it need to be screwed in. He is also taking care of some window trim that will make the car basically in fully mint condition. I am going to include a picture of my mint 1965 GT Fastback which Richie will take care of next week because it just needs a distributor and some wires. I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my classics because he is hard working, honest and has a very fair price. I even refered Richie to my neighbor who has a 1990 Corvette (paper weight) sitting in his garage for ten years not running. I would not hesitate to call Richie Rich. I'm actually worried that my review will keep him too busy to help me in the future.

I have never needed to see him more than once for the same issue. He calls weeks/months later to check on his work making sure it still meets my standards. That plus great conversation and him topping off all my fluids and checking my air pressure is worth more than what he charges.

UPDATE 5/12/2022: Richie Rich desperately tries to discredit my TRUTHFUL Yelp review with FAKE Yelp account BaKarl T. & phony review by 1 cohort of his. I reported both accounts to Yelp admin. UPDATE 5/3/2022 Richie Rich apparently tries to MANIPULATE Yelp algorithms. Click on his Yelp business page sometimes takes you to 2012/14 not recent reviews. He fears the public know he " solicited sex " in exchange for his labor. Richie Richie texted me a " death threat " on April 13 @ 3:49 PM: " You want to try to ruin my life I got you sleep good ". 3 hours after I posted this TRUTHFUL Yelp review. UPDATE 4/26/2022: Yelp admin et al can access Richie Rich police file upon request. His cell texts ( read by detective cop in the presence of police sergeant on April 18 ~ I also presented this Yelp review printout ) clarified we don't know each other personally. He validates himself as a pathological liar refutes/disputes TRUTHFUL Yelp review(s) with false info's and lies/make up stories ( relationship gone bad/woman scorned etc ). He's cocky & belligerent. UPDATE 4/20/2022: I've officially filed a report with police dept and emailed the text screenshots ( verified by a detective police who met me in person on April 18 ). It's a matter of Richie Rich mobile mechanic " solicited sex in exchange for his labor " from lone stranger client via his business phone 408-821-5536 UPDATE 4/16/2022 @ 11:20 AM: I've contacted law enforcement concerning this matter/Richie Richie Mobile Mechanic and communicated directly with a police sergeant ( 1 of 2 high ranking police officers aforementioned ) April 13 & 15. Yelp can have ALL documented communications ( sergeant's full name & direct PD line/screenshots of cell phone texts etc ) upon request. April 5 texts: Richie Rich in his own words " Can I ask you something personal ? Just curious about something. Be open minded ok ? Ok have you had any type of sexual relationships ? You kinda puzzle me. I'm kinda like a flower child. Have you ever had an organism ? Yes or No ? You have or not . I am not talking relationships. Not at all ? You never pleasured yourself ? You don't know what your missing out on. You need to loosen up. So you don't like to be dirty once in awhile. I could tell you never been with a man and pleasured physically. Ok just asking. I just think you would see thing differently. Can't say I didn't ask. You can still be lonely and get laid once in awhile. I think you should try pleasuring yourself. Think about it. Then tell me how it was. Get you to open up a little. Life is too short. Ok so if I fix the noise can we make a deal ? It will be sexual. You know what I'm talking about. I want to get you laid or do the laying. But you have never tried it how do you know you don't like. Richie Rich propositioned me for " illicit sex " during 2 business text chats ( regarding replacement of bushing MOOG K8649 ) on April 5 & 11. In his own words via texts April 5 " Ok If I fix the noise can we make a deal ? It will be sexual. " and April 11 " Hey if I do the work on your car at no charge if you help me ? How about with a blow job ? Think of money you'll save. Think of us just trading labor, I help you help me. Let me know ". I politely asked him not to talk like that and I am not into sex period. Also brought up that I am acquainted with 2 high ranking police officers. That didn't stop him, he became more aggressive and pushy. He tried to force his will on me and project

My car's engine light went on, so I took it to Richie. Richie said it just needed Cataclean and didn't charge me for looking at it. I put Cataclean into it, and amazingly, the light in fact went away. I also passed my smog check, which I don't think would have been possible if there'd been an issue with my catalytic converter. 10/10 recommend.

I am very impressed by Richie's professionalism, responsiveness and honesty. He is extremely experienced and was able to detect the issue quickly and provided effective and candid recommendations on what needed to be done. I've had Rich come out for a few repairs on my 1977 Pontiac Trans Am. He recently replaced all of my steering components (tie rods, linkage etc) and did a great job. He also quickly resolved an electrical issue with my A/C and heater setup. For all of my appointments he showed up on schedule. Rich is very friendly and prices his work fairly. He has excellent automotive knowledge to handle working on both modern and classic cars. It's also great to not have to drop off a car at the shop. Highly recommend Richie Rich Auto Repair!
