The only DG that won’t process coupons at the register. Their self checkout is smarter than they are. Store manager needs retrained.

How are they still open? Majority of the food is expired. There's literal white and molded meats in the refrigerator section. I've seen them have a cart full of thawed frozen meals they were putting in the freezer to sale. How is it legal to sale old, moldy, thawed food?

The Boaz location is an actual joke. The store is beyond messy, the aisles are beyond cluttered, there are rolltainers, U-boats, totes and empty display boxes EVERYWHERE and no one seems to care. Even the checkout area is cluttered and disorganized. It, quite literally, looks like a tornado touched down inside the store and, not even halfway during cleanup, everyone just gave up and said, "this is how it is now. Deal with it." I personally used to work for the company (in the same district AND at that same store occasionally) for nine years so I know how it's supposed to look, how to do it, and what the consequences are when it's not done. THIS location looks like everyone (cashiers, managers and even the District Manager) has simply given up. The attending cashier was sweeping an aisle and, it was so cluttered, that you couldn't even tell he'd been down it at all! He didn't greet me when I checked out, tell me my total when he was finished ringing me up or even tell me to have a nice night or anything. I GET that people are tired and overworked and underpaid but that is no excuse to let a relatively new (six years old, I think?) Store fall into literal squalor. The place needs to be shut down for a couple of days, deep cleaned and restocked and restaffed with people who actually give a flip.

She didn't give me my receipt and I got home and counted on paper what everything cost and it was haft that. I was robbed. I split it up with cash n card and there's no way any of this is right. Now nobody will answer my calls. .. I always get a receipt from the DG. I'm totally not sure if I will ever go back.

Was in this store today, to pickup some diet dr pepper's the add said the bottle six pack ..4 for $10.00 . The store is advertising..3 for $10.00. I asked the clerk about that,which he said no they are 3 for $10.00 they should sell according to their weekly ads.

The management and cashiers refuse to wear masks. And they will leave one cashier even when the lines get long. An elderly gentleman had to ask two who were standing and talking with each other if they would please open another register. This is a constant problem at this location.As another reviewer stated, they claim corporate doesn't make them wear masks. My husband has been in retail 35 years. I really doubt corporate would put themselves in the position of being sued because of their employees refusing to follow state mandates. I will be contacting corporate and I have their names.
