“I had the absolute best time shopping for outfits for my honeymoon here. Ella helped me the entire time I was there, and she was the absolute sweetest person ever. Ella made my experience here a 100/10. I felt like an actual princess by the way she took care of me and pulled the cutest outfits, and felt like her best friend before I left the store. People like Ella are the ones that are hard to find, but make the customer’s experiences top tier and memorable. She was an excellent listener, helper, and my experience would not have been the same without her. I don’t even live in Birmingham but I want to go back to this store the next time I’m passing through just because of how fun and special of a time I had here. “I cannot say enough good things about The Clothes Tree by Deborah! Me and my daughter had the best experience in this store April 20, 2024. They two sales associates took care of my daughter. They brought her dress after dress. Help her with trying them on. They were terrific. When we arrive we only had about hour and a half before they closed. When closing time came they were still helping us getting us dresses. We had driven 2 1/2 hr. To get there and it was well worth it. The assortment of formal dresses is superb! The owner Deborah came around to our dressing room about closing time to assure us there was no hurry. She came back by and asked my daughter to come out to the big mirror for a good look at the dress we were interested in. Deborah was so kind I can truly say we made a new friend that day! She showed us how the dress should be hemmed. She went over every detail with us. Upon checking out she asked if they associates had show us the gowns from the trunk show they had earlier in the week. We had not seen them so she took us back upstairs showed us the sample dresses and explained to us just exactly how a trunk show worked. All of this after closing. Thank you Deborah and associates for taking the best care of my daughter and putting her in the perfect dress!!!”

She also offered me a bottle of water after I spent some time in the sun and I was visibly flustered. I could not recommend her enough for her fantastic customer service and positive attitude. “I have tried to shop here multiple times and each is the same- I just cannot give business to a store that does not greet, does not engage or offer help, and looks at the customer as if deciding whether they are worthy of assistance. Other Homewood boutiques are much more pleasant, kind, helpful and will receive my business.I am updating my review based on my most recent experience. I chose to try and shop again. It was completely different ?I was greeted and offered help. The associate working the fitting room offered her opinion when I asked since I was shopping for my daughter. The staff was friendly and were helping many in the store as well. I am glad I gave the store another chance. I am optimistic that when I go back (and I plan to do so) it will be a similar experience and not like my prior ones. ??”
