I guess that the best way to describe this particular Walmart Neighborhood Market is that it is your typical Walmart Neighborhood Market. This particular Walmart Neighborhood Market, like most Walmart Neighborhood Market locations, is long on lines, short on customer service and while there are some decent prices, you can often do better at places like Publix when they offer BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals or sometimes even on their regular pricing. While I cannot say that I am a fan of Walmart, either their Super Centers or their Neighborhood Markets, I have found myself in Walmarts here and there. If you need to go here, you know what you are getting into. I guess I will give it three stars because I believe most of us know what awaits them when they walk through the doors of a Walmart, either a Walmart Neighborhood Market like this one or a Walmart Super Center. If you need to go here, it is what it is.

I placed a grocery pick up order that the pick up window was 8-9pm. I arrived at Walmart around 8:05 and called the number posted to tell them I arrived, no answer. I waited 5 minutes and called again and someone answered I told them my name and then was hung up on. I waited another 5-10 minutes and called again and there was no answer. My husband called, got someone on the phone and said it would be "just a minute" and then hung up. About 10 minutes later 3 workers came out to put an order in a different car and my husband waved them over and asked about our order and about how long it would be (it had been 30 min of us waiting at this point) and the girl looked on her phone and said she didn't have an order for that name.. weird bc my phone clearly shows the order with my name, the correct store etc. needless to say, I cancelled my order and will not be coming back to this Walmart.

I started coming here to get my favorite water. I always utilize the self checkout ; which is fast and convenient. They are constantly restocking here. This can be good or bad. I'm not generally a Walmart fan but I do appreciate being able to get in and out of this location fairly easily. I don't expect good service from Walmart employees but they are decent here.

Me and my sister we're at the centerpoint Walmart grocery store in I was verbally attacked by a customer who broke in mine and repeatedly cursed me and threatened me in front of to Walmart employees that did nothing about the matter they laughed and thought it was funny I don't think this kind of situation is funny the lady had her two young children with her and continued to cuss in rowlett everybody in the self-checkout aisle trying to make everybody curse at me and jump on me because she broke in line and she would not leave things alone and the management refuse to do anything about it I called this an unsafe environment and not a good place to shop if that's the way that they take care of their customers they do not value certain customers that come in here they do not even deserve a one-star in the rating as far as I'm concerned

The only bad thing about this Walmart really is there aren't enough associates. I typically spend anywhere from 30-45 mins with a few items in this Walmart. Majority of that time spent is waiting in line. They are usually not out of stock on many items which is good, but the store could be a bit more clean and appeasing to the eye as well

This location is horrible. I had to stop going. This location will not get shut down because WalMart knows people will go and spend their money regardless. There is an ALDI, Winn Dixie, and Food Giant in close proximity. ALDI doesn't always have everything you need; Winn Dixie is too expensive; and going to the food giant is like a 3rd world county. There are no employees available to check anyone out. And the ones they do have are very slow. There are always long lines. I've seen a cashier just walk away from his register completely because he was trying to get a manager for assistance, but even he had to go look for assistance. No one seems so care. I just cannot go here anymore. It takes for ever to get through the check out. I know what kind of crap I'm going to walk into when I go in, so I just had to vow never to return. It's a hot mess. Most of the employees (mainly the cashiers) are just nasty and rude. The one on Lorna Road in Hoover runs so much better. They need to fire the entire staff at the Center Point location and start over with people who care.

If it wasn't for the convenience of this location & the reasonable prices, I wouldn't shop here because they are always under staffed.
