“10.12.2024 - I visited this park while in Birmingham. There is no fee to patronize the park, but there is a $6 fee to enter the parks museum and to go to the top of the Vulcan tower. Parking is free.
The views of Birmingham are amazing at the park.”
“Lovely place to go and visit. When we went, it wasn't very busy and we were able to picnic at a table deep in the gardens. Definitely want to bring a water bottle, and it's certainly a pleasant stroll. It's hard to get lost considering there's signs everywhere, but you should definitely keep an eye on the little ones.
There are several ponds and little drop-offs, nothing too dangerous, but toddlers can make anything scary, lol. It's huge, so even if there's a lot of people in the parking lot, it doesn't mean you'll be crowded inside.
The shop and cafe are extremely expensive, though- so be wary. There are vending machines towards the entrance if you forget water.
Very pretty, staff is kind, and a great date spot.”
“Lovely green space in Birmingham. Hate that the Park Mobile areas have replaced previously free parking, but there are still numerous other parks in the city with free parking. Hopefully this isn't a sign of thi gs to come.”
“The Harbert Center is a very nice building, and each event room is clean, spacious and the food is delicious!! I was very pleased with the staff and would do it all over again!!”
“My husband and I had our reception at The Florentine in June and everything was perfect! Will West, the event coordinator, is very trustworthy and works so hard to make your dreams come true! The venue is gorgeous, and the food and cake are the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. We still get compliments about it! The Florentine takes care of the food, service, alcohol, cake, decor/setup, and florals, so it’s so easy to only have to communicate with one person about all of this.
I wish we could do it again and look forward to the next wedding we go to at the Florentine!”

2028 Highland Ave, Birmingham“This mansion takes you back in time for real. I appreciate the owner attention to details and preserve the old with a touch of modern needs: frim house decor to outside gazebo. The breakfast is just lovely presented, sit down and you'll be served. They do cater dietary needs.
Rooms: Rooms are just as described and there's historic facts you can read about and pictures all over. You can feel a bit Scarlett O'Hara -ish”
“Well-maintained antebellum mansion in the West End area of Birmingham, Alabama. The museum inside is designed for a self-guided tour. A video plays in the gift shop, showing the history of the house. The grounds are georgios, particularly in the Spring. A dining/reception area is on the property as well. We had a group of about thirty-six. The staff treated us well. Our meal was very good.”
“This event venue was nice. The people who worked there were nice, as well. However, it was super hot in there. The event was in August so keep this in mind when booking, if temperature control is important to you.”
“The nice lady that takes care of this gallery helped me out with getting pictures for my art project by using her own phone because mine had shut down and I didn't have a charger. That was very sweet and helpful of her. The art displayed here is also very nice, although I don't know if it's pricey or not because I don't know what they normally sell for. That was the first time that I went to an art gallery and it was a very nice experience to say the least. Do check them out if you're in the area.”

4012 Sicard Hollow Rd, Birmingham“Event space is well thought out and comes with a nicely sized kitchen. Give them a call and take a look, you will like it. Museum is smallish and needs some more technical explanations to make it more engaging.”
“Nice spot I've been in the inside. This particular event was held on there back which I never knew was back there. Outside bar and all. This was very very nice. I'm thinking bout doing my party outback. Smoking was not a problem ?. Can't judge food the food was supplied by the person giving the party. Nice lounging chairs and table plenty of seating.”
“I wish I could give 10 stars! They really took care of us when we hosted our gender reveal. I was really impressed. It’s very spacious and they will do their best to accommodate you in any way. I highly recommend for private events! Angela Kimble and her lovely staff were so patient and professional the whole time. They were beyond friendly to me and my guests.”
“My family and I had SUCH a great night at Bowlero! We haven't bowled in a long time and forgot how much fun it is. Everyone had a blast. The facility was clean and orderly. The lighting and the music were ideal. We all had so much fun and I'm excited to go back in the future. I'd like to mention that Lane S. went above and beyond in helping me schedule my event and at the bowling alley, Carla did such a superb job making sure my family and I had everything we needed to enjoy our time. I didn't get his name but the man attending the bar was excellent as well. All around great customer service and exceptional experience. I highly recommend this bowling alley and I hope to go back again.”

2655 Lane Park Rd, Birmingham“I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very nice and location is convenient for access to Publix and restaurants within walking distance. My biggest issue was the blow dryer in the room was in disrepair, looked really old and the handle was losing it's covering peeling off. The hallways were very warm when I walked out of my room. Otherwise the bed was great and shower fantastic. Art was very nice.”

4000 Grand Ave, Birmingham“When I say the staff at Ross Bridge is exceptional, I genuinely mean it. The friendships I built in just one week were remarkable. I’ve never encountered such accommodating and kind individuals at a resort. From Danielle, James, and Warren at the front desk to Mod and Teddy in concierge, and Malina in HR, along with Camila and Carla at Brocks—each of them truly deserves a raise. During my week there, these individuals truly changed my life for the better. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to know each of them.”
