Love this store. The only comment I would make is that sugar free items like ice cream, pies, etc. are hard to find here. 40 percent of Americans are overweight and there are thousands of diabetics in this market area.

I understand Fresh Market is a specialty store with specialty prices. It’s certainly a bit upscale and I don’t mind paying that for certain premium products.
But with that, I expect stellar service.
Generally the 289 staff is lovely, but I’m not sure what’s happened lately.
To that point, I hope Joanne has a better day tomorrow. Her bitterness and complaints and yelling across the cashier lanes really lit me up. I’d expect that at Walmart, but not here.
Train better.
Hire better.

Look, I wouldn’t leave a review if this was the first time this happened. The staff is lovely and always gives great service, but a message to the deli department: take your time. A full strip of paper in the middle of my sandwich. Luckily I check my food before I eat it, but this could have been a disaster otherwise. This is the second time I’ve seen something like this

The man at the meat counter today at 2:15 pm was extremely rude, condescending, and unhelpful. Seemed to have a real chip on his shoulder and had no knowledge or suggestions. It made the experience awkward and uncomfortable.

Above and beyond customer service. I went in and asked for a Market Meal Kit and they were out of it, but the I’m assuming manager, had them make one for me!!! I wish I would have caught her name. She was so helpful and pleasant. I shop here often but this experience was review worthy!!

Love Fresh Market but twice this week went in around 3:00 and they were out of rotisserie chicken, which was on special. Was told the second day that it would be 45 minutes before they had more. Seems like they might manage that I bit better, especially when they are on a special.

I had the pleasure of having Paul in the meat department in Hoover, AL wait on me. His expertise helped me decide how much primer rib to order and agreed with my cooking method. When ordering something that special, you want to make sure you get it right. He was professional, but still approachable. He said he would take care of my order, giving me the peace of mind I needed. Thanks so much Paul.C. Palmer

I enjoy going here and have for years. Tonight was one of the worst experiences by far! The lady in the bakery had an attitude and felt I couldn't ask a question.I didn't feel welcome at this place. I honestly don't want to step foot in this place again the way I was treated!

This pains me to write this review because I was a long-time customer for about 6 years before I moved to Atlanta. The guy that made the sushi back in 2006 when I bought my condo brought over sushi and Sake for my housewarming party. I literally had that much of an interaction and relationship with everyone there at this TFM...Sadly, I went there today and I was not just disappointed in the selection and quality of the sushi, I was also disappointed in the quality of the service. I was dismissed and ignored while the 2 besmirched customers. The 2 ignored customers while they talked and had nothing nice to say when I had asked a simple question...Sadly, I left. That was my favorite place to go for fresh food and sushi.
