From the time I walked into this Super Target store, Desiree, a cashier exemplified EXCELLENT customer service to me. (At 1pm on Sunday, 4 or 5 cashiers had 0 customers.) Seeing I needed help, Desiree directed me to the juicers, looked for the Breville, took it off the shelf. She was very patient with me. As a senior citizen needing directions often when in a megastore, I am so grateful to DESIREE for giving me the royal treatment at HOOVER TARGET, on GROVE BLVD.

Love the store hours! Opening at 7:00am is wonderful for us early risers.

Love the drive up option and decided to try the fresh produce/fruit and see how they do with that. Well im disappointed! Seem like the worker didn't even try to get me fresh looking bananas. Very upset! Will not trust them to get my produce/fruits again. ??

Went into Target at The Grove in Hoover the afternoon of Superbowl Sunday to pick up a tray I ordered and a few other things. When I went to ring it up at self checkout on the grocery side of the store, I noticed the deli had overpriced the item almost 10 dollars. Needing assistance to take the item off my order and change it to the correct price, I looked around for the employee who was supposed to be working at the self checkout. She was nowhere to be found. I noticed another lady who had trouble at the register next to me also looking around for someone to help her. After noticing the employee who was supposed to be at the self checkout registers over by the entrance doors engaging in conversation instead of helping customers, I went over to her, asked if she was working self checkout and if she could please help us. She said yes, I’ll be right there. As I was walking away, I hear the other ladies tell the employee, “That was bold. You’re in no hurry” and start laughing. When the employee finally reached the self checkout I let her know that the lady at the other register also needed help and was before me. The employee snapped at me and said, “You see me coming! I’m moving as fast as I can!” At that point I was ready to leave my stuff, walk out and shop somewhere else. But I continued with my purchase and left very disappointed with the service I received. Asking an employee to do the job the are being paid for at the register they are assigned to is not “being bold”. Letting an employee know that a woman who was before me also needed help has nothing to do with an employees speed. If you don’t know how to professionally treat customers then maybe you should not work in retail. Especially when the customer is the reason why your business is even open, making money and the reason you receive a paycheck.

I was very pleased with my drive up/pick up order. Everything was accurate, produce was fresh and it was packed carefully in the bags and placed in my car. The employee was very sweet as well!
