You know most things there are not marked up too much. It's reasonable for the convenience.although many times in very shocked when I get to the register. And I'm pretty good at math..but that being said they are a nice family..and I appreciate them being there. Just don't buy cigarettes there.

Great little spot to get everything you need when you forget to get something from the grocery store.

While prices are high, the staff is always polite and helpful. Good for a one item or total basket foods.

I'm so sick and tired of being denied business for 32 cents. minimum purchase with a card is 3.50, so not really convenient when you just want a drink. I wont be back. not like they'd accept my money anyway.

Great variety of different things available. Last time I went I had to decide between heavy whipping cream and whipped cream. None of the food is expired (a rarity among bodegas). Prices are expensive, but it's a bodega. The staff are always very friendly.

Prices are ridiculous on everything! I can understand with the pandemic that prices are up but I was told by the owner he takes prices up everyday from ten cents to five dollars not to mention when you get to the counter the price are different than displayed! I see the owner at Aldi, Walmart, and the Dollar Store often but to bring it back to our neighborhood and charge 4 x's the price is absurd and it price gouging! So much for convenience for this neighborhood!

I lived across the street and visited this place daily for 5 years. Probably spend $25k in there over the years because I was too lazy to drive to Walmart. The prices are higher but you are paying for connivence. It is family owned and operated. The mom and dad work in the morning and 1 of the 2 kids work at night. Both kids are in college and seem like they will be very successful in life. When I told them I was moving away, they genuinely were very sad. I hope it’s not just because they were losing my money. I honestly felt like we all developed a relationship over the years. They are very nice people. Once again, you are paying for connivence. They have Indian food that you can try. Some Indian snacks and what not. Also they have fresh produce which is a rare thing for a connivence store these day. 10/10 would recommend!

Idk what this place is like now, but back when i was little this place was called, "Bob & Jack's". And them two dude's were really really cool. Id stop by there every evening after school as i walking home & I'd get me a cold drink to walk up that mountain with ... that was an old memory right there

You will not have a 1 star experience here. Cannot fathom how people would say that about this place. We live right by Southside Market and go there all the time for essential needs. The employees are like family, and they will always treat you like so.
