I went to go fill up E-85 last night, 05/17/24 at about 8:30ish. I walked in with cash and stated $35 on pump 1 with fuel rewards and the cashier said okay and handed back my change without allowing me to do fuel rewards, so I asked her about fuel rewards and she said “oh no it’s broken sorry bye” keep in mind I’ve worked at shell for years, as my uncle owns one so I know she just forgot to click yes in fuel rewards but she didn’t wanna go back and redo it even tho it was cash and kept arguing with me fuel rewards is not possible and tried to tell me shell fuel rewards is fake! I even explained to her I work at shell if you don’t know I can help you she rudely said “no work no work” and then I said never mind I don’t want to fill up here anymore can I have my money back and then she refused to give my money for a good minute and then rudely handed me my money and put her hand in my face and told me to get out of the store! Keep in mind Birmingham only has two fuel stations with e-85 so I had to drive another 15 miles to get to another shell on i65. I will be driving an extra 15 miles every time now to fill up my car. Very disappointed with the way I was treated. Very rude lady working the cashier.

I posted a review a few months back that should have warranted the owner's attention. Didn't even get a reply. Very sad. Still will never go back after my previous experience and obvious apathy from the owner/management. What a shame.

Every gas station bathroom in this entire town is magically “out of commission” when the sun goes down. I came into my 4th gas station after circling town for 35 full minutes attempting to find a functioning restroom fighting through bladder pain from having driven 4 hrs—I begged the employee to use any bathroom, as I was literally in pain. The cashier coldly stated “The Chevron is open 24/7,” and immediately walked into the back office without a word, refusing to even serve me if I had attempted to purchase an item after this interaction.

This station never has receipts at the pump. Last 18 fill ups I've had to go inside for a receipt. Won't visit this station again...

this store is hit or miss half the time The pumps don't work and nobody knows what's going on around there.. my advice is to skip the store and go down to the raceway or the Chevron. Anything is better than here..

Clean place, friendly employees, well lit! Great place to stop on your way through Birmingham. Bathrooms were a bit dim, but clean nonetheless. Plus there's a little Caesar's attached! Win!

I always make a stop here when I can usually on the way to work. Very clean and organized. The cashier Anna is very kind and polite:) thank you shell for being one of my favorite has stations, always reliable!

The people at this store are very friendly and offer great customer service. I live nearby they offer easy access 24/7 when I needed that late night snack or drink. Thank y’all for being open on those nights I couldn’t sleep when going thru Chemo. Anna the nighttime cashier was so nice and knew the meaning of the word good customer service. If you haven’t been there in awhile or are a new customer you will be glad you stopped. Thanks again

I've stopped by here several times. The employees have always been nice. The inside of the store is kept clean. The restroom could use a good cleaning and repair. They have a good selection of food and drinks available to choose from when you just need that snack to hold you over, but you don't want to go to a fast food restaurant. There are not a ton of pumps outside, so you may end up waiting depending on the time of the day - especially when dealing with rush hour traffic on 280.

Don’t worry about going in anymore. Workers are either not present or are on the phone ignoring you when you get to the counter.
