I took my car there in December a 2014 Chevrolet Impala in for a Stabilitrak issue that had had a recall in 2014 but my car was never taken in for thattherefore the 2014 recall is still showingsigns of needing service I cannot drive the car down the road for more than not even 2 minutes before I have to pull over turn the engine off and start it back up again to go another 2 miI was charged for a computer body module that did not need to be replaced or serviced just so they could make a dollar and they kept my car nearly 14 daysI am in the process now of hiring an attorney for a recall not serviced. I took my car to three different separate dealershipsand the same thing came from them they did not want to do a recall because they would not they would not make any money on me so I went and pick the car back up having to take an Uber and pay that to pick the car up just to have the same problems again now this is 5 mts on goingand I cannot imagine that this is doing my car any good it is messing my engine up more and more is going to happen if it is not addressedand who pays for that I doand then I end up with no car at all and still no job

My 12 y/o son had a doc appt in B’ham the week of Christmas & when we got into town from MS, my bearing decided it was time to go. Not wanting to drive 2.5h back on a bad hub, I called Scott’s & asked if he had time for us. Not only were we up & back on the road in a couple of hours, I made my afternoon appointment back in MS as well. Nice work??

I'm very disappointed with Scotts Auto 6929 1st Ave, N. My daughter's car was taken to Scotts by the owner of Magic City Motors 5545 1st Ave N. (Doug) where I purchased her car from, because he states that this is where he takes all his vehicles to be repaired, and because I trusted Doug, I felt like Scotts Auto would do well. The car was perfectly fine when Doug dropped it off. The only thing that was wrong was the warning light was on for the tire pressure light. Scott was supposed to be replacing the pressure hose and a valve cover which he did, but when we got the car back it was smoking, shaking, and 3 additional lights was on, which where the Check Engine light, VSC and tire skid light. I took the car back and told them what was going on. It was then that Scott told us that because Coils 1 and 5 are bad, this is causing the car to run like it is. He then said that the valve cover was broken and that he would correct what had been done by his mechanic. I told him that the car wasn't running like this before we brought it to them and if the coils was already bad then why the car wasn't running bad then? He said if we bring the coils back, he will replace them at no charge. So, I purchased the coils and brought them back and Scott had his mechanic to replace the coils after he told me he would personally be correcting the issue. After picking up my daughter car for the second time the car was still not running like it was supposed to. I went back to Scott's and told him what the car was doing, he then told me that it was because the O 2 sensor need to be replaced. He said once that's done all the lights will clear and the car will be fine. Well, the o2 sensor has been replaced, the car is still running the same..... BAD and all those warning lights are still on. The owner of Magic City Motors (Doug) advised us that those lights are on because the coils 1 and 5 need to be changed but keep in mind this is what Scott said he already replace after he changed the hose and valve cover. We are out of about $1400.00 and the car is running worse than ever. I can't believe Doug from Magic City Motors 5545 1st Ave N who I spoke so highly of and consider a very nice person and who I have referred my friends to would do this. Magic City Motors charged my mother $199.00 for a part she purchased and Scott who I thought was one of the best and who I have referred people to would do us like this. I see a lot of people saying how great Scott's Auto is, but I can't say the same. I can only say that it seems to me that they have taken advantage of ladies and now my daughter does not have transportation to get back to school (she's a college student). This has been by far the worst experience I have had when it comes to mechanics and customer service.

I ended up going to another auto shop for a diagnosis. They said that I needed another heater core and it would cost me around $1,323 and would take a day and a half. I decided to call around for the best price, and trying to make plans for renting a vehicle too since I work 6 - 7 days a week.He suggested bypassing the heater core and connecting the hoses together for a very affordable price. Suggested that I wait until the fall to get it replaced since it's not needed until colder weather hits.I loved his automatic suggestion, which ended up saving me thousands of dollars and so much time too.I didn't expect it, but I now have a regular mechanic in the Birmingham area.

Quick!! They got on the job!! Got the car towed there they paid towing fee for me (but I paid back in invoice) and the car was done in a matter of hours!! Like literally!! Great service definitely A1 service!!
