Best experience I've had at a Red Wing yet!

Had a voucher from my company to buy red wing boots. Went to this store to get them. I was the first customer in the door. I have been treated kinder and with more professional service at payless shoes than how myself and my helper were treated that day. I felt like a huge inconvenience to the salesman. He really became irritated when i asked to be fitted at least for the insole i had heard so much about, and those things were 50 bucks… Now first off I was told by the salesman that showed up at my company, that red wing boots are the best and all of us have been wearing the wrong sized boots all our lives. Only red wing boots can measure and fit perfect. Well the salesman didnt even measure my foot. He asked me my shoe size and then guessed at what size the red wing boot needed to be. He ordered them. When I received them. Yes you guessed it they did not fit. Well low and behold everyone at my company has been forced to wear the red wang boots so when safety guy shows up he questioned me as to why i wasn’t wearing my red wang boots. I then had to take time out of my life and explain that the salesman thought he was so good at his job, he just guessed my boot size with a Crystal ball. Thank goodness i disnt get sent home for 3 days like they threatened we would if we didnt wear the red wang boot. I was already a little put off we were being forced to wear a lace up boot and forced to wear a brand instead of getting my own boot that is a safety type boot as well. Now i am being forced to go somewhere and be treated poorly by a supposedly reputable-boot company. I called today and asked for my company voucher back and received zero customer service support as to the salesperson not fitting me properly with the boots. So i just asked for my voucher back and will go on the search for another hopefully more reputable and professional red wang boot store. I wouldn’t have given such a soulful review had not we been fed such a huge lie about how great and wonderful red wang boots and their representatives are. My whole company was obviously lied too. So i will search out another store and hopefully change reviews to 5 stars, i will definitely not recommend or return to tis store. . I cannot give a review on the magical boot due to them not fitting onto my foot. EDIT REVIEW : the owner reached out to me the very day of this review, and offered his assistance and was super professional and courageous. I will update this review as soon as i follow his directions in solving my problem.

Erica was so friendly and professional, and knows your feet better than a podiatrist! She knows exactly what you need to fit each foot comfortably and properly. The guarantee on their boots just cannot be beaten!
