Love going to Planet Fitness. I chose to go with the black card for the extra benefits that come with it. Love the massage chair and hydro-bed massage.

Planet Fitness is the bomb...lots of locations throughout the country. Staff is very courteous at the various locations I have been to. Loads of different machines and also providing numerous showers and changing areas

Canceling a membership is nearly impossible! I’ve called and let them know I’m no longer in the area but I’m still billed every month. Annoying!

Whenever there is a dark-haired girl, she puts obstacles in the way of giving me the coins for the massage machines, and since I pay the Black Card, they should put someone responsible like a manager to resolve those things.
And I hope they talk to this girl called Brit or Britney, I don't know the truth, there was a white girl with glasses and she didn't help me either.

So today is my 2nd week working out with a trainer & on last week I remember us training on the stair step machines & I had made us some juice shots from my house & brought them to the gym ,we took our shots & evidently by accident I left my 2oz portion cup in the cup holder today makes 10 days later & when we got on those same machines that cup was still there, I was like wow nobody is cleaning the machines, we got off those & I went to the treadmill to walk and got on it there was a used Malik in the cup holder , I asked the young lady at the front desk with the pink wig on : how often are the machines cleaned & she said daily & I said well there’s the same cup in the cup holder that I left by mistake on the machine from last week & the machine today was dirty, I said cleanliness seems to be a issue , she claimed it on the night shift b& said she cleans daily , but the proof is in thePudding, she said it’s more the customers job to do the cleaning, & I said well I’m telling u instead of leaving a review & she said if I leave a review all they would do is look at it & pretty much keep it moving & then she instructed me to leave a review addressing my concerns of cleanliness at the Roebuck planet fitness in Birmingham AL

I travel a lot, this led me to signing up for planet fitness since they are in every location I go. I usually have nothing but good things to say about every location I’ve been to. This one is different. When I walk in to every location other than this one I am always greeted with a smile. When I walked in this location, the front desk attendant was sitting across the room on his phone. I had trouble signing in and he glanced at me a few times but didn’t approach or ask if I needed help. The gym is super small in comparison to other planet fitness locations, which would normally be ok. There is already limited room and there are numerous pieces of equipment that is inoperable. The bathrooms are not clean, trash in the floor, and garbage cans overflowing. To top it off, the showers did not have hot water, they were all leaking and mismatch. So after taking a cold shower in a dirty shower stall I got to get dressed in a dirty bathroom. Safe to say I’ll probably find another location.

Everyone really is welcome here!! Love the atmosphere and the variety of exercise equipment. The people are friendly as well. Definitely recommend to anyone!!
