If I could leave zero stars I would. Switched to this agent in August 2022 and was told that they would handle notifying my mortgage company of the switch to ensure my homeowners insurance would be paid from my escrow. No letters received notifying me of any issues to my home….no calls from the agent or his staff to notify me that my insurance had not been paid for months. I finally get a call on 11/22….1 day before my policy was set to cancel for nonpayment of premium. I call my mortgage company and was informed they had no record of me switching to Allstate and they in fact had paid Met Life/Farmers who was my old carrier. Conferenced Katie and my mortgage company together in on a call and was told Allstate was sending their correspondence in to the wrong mailing address and that it was also missing the loan number to route to the escrow department. Was told on 11/22 that a check would be sent overnight to keep my policy from canceling. EVEN ASKED TO BE MADE AWARE IF FOR ANY REASON THAT PAYMENT WASN’T RECEIVED OVERNIGHT TO CALL ME AND I WOULD PAY IT TO KEEP THE POLICY IN FORCE!!!! I received an email on 11/23 from Allstate with a copy of the new policy and thanking me for my business. Pretty safe to say that I should not have relied on this email and my thinking that this issue was handled. Fast forward to 12/8 and I receive a call from Josh indicating my policy in fact did cancel because the payment from my mortgage company was not received in time as agreed. Although the original issue of the misrouting of documents was not my fault and the fact I told the agent staff to call me if the payment was not received and I would pay it!!!! Now not only do I have a cancellation due in part to incompetence on Allstate and my mortgage company’s part, I also would have to pay a higher premium rate since the rate has changed!!!!! And when I questioned why Allstate would not honor the original rate and I quote Josh “because you have access to your online account and you registered for the online account, you (the consumer who held their end of the bargain) should have known that the issue was not corrected.” Not only is their incompetence now my fault…I’m not staying with Allstate and will have to pay a higher premium with any other carrier because of the cancellation. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND RUN FROM THIS AGENCY!!!!

Terrible time with this company. I usually only write a review if the company is fantastic because I'm not a negative person, but in this case, I feel like I need to warn others about this. I received a piece of mail with a picture of my home on it with a very interesting quote for home insurance, sounded good so I called. I switched everything over to this company and I paid the price for that really bad move. Very misleading and now I've had to deal with not having home insurance at all for a month because of this. I'm just now getting back on my feet after this incident with this company. I wish I had never left my prior insurance company to go with Pete Russell Allstate insurance agency. I'm going to continue to mind my own business like I was before and I really hope they never contact me again. I felt the need to warn you so I did. I would never suggest this company to anyone. Sad but true. There's more to this story but I won't go into it all, but long story short... They tricked me.

This agency is the worst I have ever had to deal with. Their billing department continually and constantly fails to get my bill correct. NOT ONCE SINCE I HAVE SIGNED UP WITH THEM! Tired of them sending notice cancellation all the time. When it's not time.
