The staff and Jim specifically was very helpful. I had several very high end (non Orvis) brand fly reels and they spooled them up and had them ready for the water the next business day. I couldn't be happy with the service and quality.

All in all this place is pretty nice although I believe Orvis and stores like it ate overpriced but we keep feeding the machine.

Was just in here today looking to purchase an additional sun shirt for canoeing. Employee “Jacob” was both courteous & extremely helpful! Not only did he try hunting down the color & size I wanted but gave an alternative when it wasn’t available. He was able to help me place an order for the one I wanted and still get the website promotion.
The store was very clean and items displayed well. They also have “Darn Tough” brand socks!! I highly recommend this location! You won’t be disappointed! Thanks again Jacob for an excellent shopping experience! ???????

This Birmingham Orvis is fantastic. Most of my clothes are Orvis. I enjoy that the clothing can be dressed up and professional while I sell real estate but I can also put it to the test while I am adventuring and doing outdoor activities. Very friendly staff and a good collection of clothing and fly fishing gear. Highly recommend this place!

The Birmingham Orvis is a great shop. Most of my wardrobe comes from Orvis. Make sure that you visit the store and check for any in-store specials, and check out the wide selection of flies in the back. The whole gang at Orvis is friendly, helpful, and passionate about making sure that your store visit is a great experience.

Very nice store. Clothing is on the expensive side but excellent quality. They have a wide selection of Flies and Fly rods for Fly fishing as well as someone there who is very well versed in fly fishing who will be happy to talk and explain the various aspects of it to you. Definitely a neat place to go and check out if you are interested in Fly Fishing or even looking to get some advice for fishing in the surrounding areas.
