My child came home with. Constant stress in her downstairs area. Took her to the doctor and we located pinworms after doing test. She has been treated and will not be returning to this location. FYI PINWORMS come from kids playing in dirt and eating without washing their hands with warm water. I do not believe this location offers warm running water for the children to use

The perfect reviews are what led me to this childcare center. I quickly learned that reviews that demonstrate perfection are fictitious because perfection does not exist in life, so it definitely does not exist in business. Now realizing that the owner asks parents to write reviews to receive free tuition, I received my answer to why the reviews are so perfect. As a business owner, critiques and suggestions should be welcomed because you should want to know how your business can be more effective and how you can grow. While the arts and crafts, letter recognition activities, picture day, holiday activities and refreshments for mothers on Mother's Day, etc. are all great gestures that lead the center in the right direction and shows that the owner is trying from an educational standpoint as well as a customer service standpoint. The problems that exist seem to be greater than expected and require attention. There are not safety measures in the center. For example, I have gone in the room and removed my son without acknowledgment from any staff member, several relatives have picked him up without being asked for identification although the owner explained that this is a pickup requirement after I explained how important his safety is at this time in our lives. When enrolling in the daycare, I was not provided with policies, procedures, expectations, ways to pay etc. in writing, which allows for a great deal of confusion, because one thing is stated one day, and a different thing stated the next leaving you without the ability to keep up with the ever-changing things the owner comes up with at her convenience. From a customer service standpoint, I expected different responses from the owner when things were brought to her attention. For example, when I walked in the one-year-old classroom and students were left unattended, her response to me was that she watched the camera, and it was only five minutes. What I expected to hear was, this is not at all the way we operate because we have high expectations of our staff, I can assure you this type of incident will never happen again, and it has been handled. When I asked her why she was charging me money for "tuition" after an outside agency was paying her the full amount and even agreed to pay her more money, she stated it was for missed punches on the machine, but parents who never miss punches don't pay the additional money. I never missed a punch, but she was still asking me for additional money although she was being paid the full amount already, even texting for the money if I did not pick my son up that Friday. This was heart breaking because it made me feel that parents in need are being taken advantage of especially after speaking with the agency. When paying independently, I was being asked to pay a late fee for a week my son did not attend where my only method to pay was to scan their QR code on the establishment wall so if I have not visited your establishment then how can a late fee be expected because I can only pay when I'm there. But instead of providing a convenience mechanism such as a pay sheet that should have been provided in the informational packet that should have been received when registering that provides the QR code, unprofessional behavior was demonstrated instead. The turnover rate is high, which makes trust difficult because the staff changes at high rates. Which leaves you to wonder how staff members are being veted and when are they receiving training to know that children can't be left alone or that it's not appropriate for a child to play with a sock off the instructor's foot. The center expects to be paid like a daycare but takes breaks like the public school system. The public school system is free so they can take as many breaks as they would like at no expense to the parent, but a daycare being paid like a daycare should only be closed on major holidays. This childcare center has a lot of potential and I hope this feedback elicits change to provide a great environment for parents and children.

If you plan on your child being soaked when you pick them up everyday. And having to send change of clothes EVERYDAY. This is the perfect place for you. ? The director is really sweet. Just has to find a staff that cares about the kids.

I cannot praise the staff here enough! My baby is 21 months and already knows how to count to at least 6 with her friends, her verbiage is clear as day. I have noticed that she feels at home there. Anytime I have questions or concerns the staff answers them with no hesitation. Even the ambiance when you first walk in is serene and beautiful. I love it here! Also, I love that do the hands over hands activities for the youngest group of kids, that’s so important to me.

Our daughter has been going to Metropolitan Day School since July and loves it! We couldn't have found a better place for our girl. We recently moved to the area and even though Covid delayed our childcare search, I was immediately impressed with MDS when I initially researched facilities before our move. MDS is more than a "daycare", the directors and teachers create an educational environment which combines learning and fun. We are so thankful for everyone at MDS!

Ava is the best. She manages the daycare exceptionally well. The facility is really good and the kids love playing and learning with their friends. This is really a family atmosphere.
