McCorquodale Transfer did a remarkable job packing and moving most of my home contents to my new house, with nothing broken, and storing the rest several months during a renovation period. In addition, I was unable to supervise much of the move because my husband was in the hospital and I needed to be there. They took ownership of the process as if it was their personal move. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Hired McCorquodale Transfer for a delivery and they were FANTASTIC!! The delivery was a very heavy and awkwardly shaped table to move, and they came up with an ingenious method to get it safely off the truck and through the house. They were fast, courteous, professional and extremely pleasant to work with...the best quality and consistent movers you can possibly get. Plus, their rates are incredibly reasonable. They're the only movers I will ever use.

When your company needs to get access to an alley and your employees come say "move your truck" that's not the way to go about it. Very rude kids!

I truly wish I had looked at the reviews prior to having Mcquoradale deliver furniture locally. Like the previous reviewer I also was shocked to be charged $528 for two sofas and a coffee table to be delivered to our house from a local furniture store. When I called I was told it was $249 per hour for a two-man crew. This is truly highway robbery and I would not recommend this company to anybody wanting furniture delivered within 10 miles. I was not given a quote prior to the delivery and also not informed that there would be an additional charge for a credit card.

Really an unbelievably poor customer experience. We bought a sofa/ottoman from a local furniture store and hired McCorquodale to pick them up from the warehouse and deliver to our home. We were quoted $249 over the phone as a 2-hour minimum and based on our proximity to McCorquodale’s office, and the warehouse basically being located on the way, we agreed expecting it would not exceed 2 hours. Our bill was $582 for 2 & 1/4 hours!!!!!Obviously a misunderstanding right, because who would pay $582 to have a sofa/ottoman delivered? Apparently not…when we called to discuss we were firmly told that we were wrong, we made the mistake, it’s $249 per hour, and they would not work with us. Man on the phone (President BTW) said they even laughed internally at the job saying amongst themselves “who pays nearly $600 to have a sofa/table delivered across town”. Well it would have been nice for the “professionals” to maybe realize something wasn’t right and share that.More disturbing than the quote/rate issue was the phone conversation with the President which was so out of line I honestly still can’t believe it. Lesson learned…they don’t care about the customer and shame on us for not getting the quote in writing. With so many options for this type of service I would strongly recommend you look for another.

They were amazing to work with!! We were so nervous about a state to state move and we were INCREDIBLY PLEASED with MT from beginning to end and the same crew packed us on day one, loaded the truck day 2, and delivered and unloaded. Cullen, the team captain, along with Michael from Mobile, AL were 5/5 on service, attention to detail, respect, professionalism, friendliness, and thoroughness. They picked up Jack in Montgomery to help with the unloading in Atlanta and he was just as good. They made a very stressful experience go smoothly! We couldn't have asked for anything better!
