I would never send my child here again. The daycare is filthy your child comes home with dirty clothing, socks, nails. The workers do not care for children as they should. Would give 0 stars if it was available. I gave them a chance despite their reviews but that was a HUGE mistake. 3 incidents occurred within 4 days of my child being there. Totally unacceptable!

My son is an special kid who had an open heart surgery when he was 11 month … this Thursday when his dad pick him up he notice that someone hit him in his head like 3 times ..i understand that kids are hard and some kids they fight between each other .. but when I go to speak with the director she told me that it was no report about it .. she apologize and told me that she will give me a call back. … well she never did that .. so when I pick him up from school she just hide from me today I took my son to the hospital and they told me that he get some bacteria on his throat and 100% that he get it in there …

Love this daycare both my daughters went here My first born started when she was 2 and they have tremendous teachers, my second born started when she was 6 weeks old they lived and cared for her as if she was their own. Not to mention they have cameras where you can view your child’s day. My third born will be attending and my second born.

Based on the website and location, I thought this would be a good choice for my toddler.....I called the chalkville location to ask about availability and now I have changed my mind. The girl on the phone was extremely rude and acted bothered or like I was getting on her nerves. This is a woman that works with children. If she was bothered by having to answer questions ABOUT THE BUSINESS SHE WORKS AT and doing her JOB, then how is she acting with those kids? I definitely won't be sending my child there and having to worry about employees with bad attitudes and how they are treating my child just because they dont like their job.

Just left the Clay/Trussville location. The Director didn't speak at all pull up on me was very rude nasty attitude explain to me i was suppose to come in from a different direction. Explain I was in her spot guess she meant parking spot. She ask me was I taking a tour I said yes. The Director pull off went around waited until i moved to get the parking spot. My Daughter was taking Tour not me, I wouldn't refer anyone to this location. The Director didn't know who I was could have been from DHR anyone important dealing with Child care. Don't know her Name she drives white SUV. No one explain to my Daughter not to park in the front towards the Street. Upon arriving to the Daycare. 02/3/2020

My husband and I scheduled a tour on 3/26 at 2:00 p.m. online and we received a confirmation email. We arrived at our appointment and had to ring the doorbell to in order to be let in. We rang the bell a few times and got no answer. I decided to call inside thinking maybe they were just busy since we couldn't see anyone through the glass doors. I got a young lady on the phone and told her about our scheduled tour and her response was that she would transfer me to her manager. No one ever came to the door and we didn't get to tour the facility. The manager told me over the phone that they were booked until July and did not inform me that there was a waiting list that our son could be added to. The manager calls me on 3/28 at 1:00 p.m. and leaves a message to see if we want to reschedule the tour. We were there on time the day of our tour, why would I want to reschedule when you didn't answer the door nor allow us to actually tour the facility. It was a complete waste of time and the staff there is really unprofessional.

Would have given a half star but there was no option. This is by far one of the most unprofessional places ive encountered. Seems like my child has a different teacher every month. Not to mention the tiny parking lot and playground and rude “teachers”. Then like today I walk in my son is asleep so I go to get him but he has no shoes on so I ask the “teacher” “where are my sons shoes” she replies “who’s your son” looking at me like I have a 3 eye or something I reply “Elijah the kid I’m stand beside” she replies “I don’t know where his shoes are I’m not his teacher” so i reply “ok cool, we’ll let me walk around here lost looking for someone who knows then” she replies while raising her voice “what you want me to do?” Instead if I’m not sure let me go find his teacher. So I go to find his shoes and finally get someone who know where they are and then I can hear the lady who was talking and staring at me crazy talking about me to someone else who works there. I would not recommend sending your child to la petite. If they will talk to a grown man like that no telling how they talk to the kids.Just seems like they dont enjoy there jobs... I’m sure it’s not all people but as much money as as you pay for your child to go there seems like it could be a lot better and my son would have a teacher for longer than a couple weeks. It’s really over crowed and class sizes are to big and most “teachers” not all have really poor attitudes. We also never recieve any artwork or anything like that our son is suppose pertisipates in. One bad apple ruins the whole barrel....

Ever since they got rid of the directors that had been there for years this center has gone down! It used to be great. We were there for at least 4-5 years. But a child died at the homewood location and they got rid of a lot of workers over all. It has not been good since. I am being gracious giving them 2 stars because after many complaints and speaking with regional management 6 year old was still speaking of older boys being/ showing inappropriate areas. Also she was not the only one that had complaints and minimal if any actions were taken. After I informed of the issues the staff began to treat my children differently.

My son has gone here since he was a year old. We've always been treated well. Easy online payment system. They have great hours. I feel my child is safe here. They have a coded door so you can get in to your child whenever you need to but don't have to worry about strangers going into the daycare. I feel like my child is treated like family and they honestly care about the children here. The women who run this place are the best! My child will continue to go here for after school care when he starts elementary school because we love them so much.

My son was here for about two weeks. He never received his mailbox, cubby, or assigned teacher. I feel he was labeled and the staff treated him accordingly. My mom overheard staff members encouraging physical violence between kids to one of the child's parents. One of my son's teacher was extremely nonchalant! I watched a child hit my son, my son told her, and she did not address this until I made my presence aware. I am grateful he was not there any longer or didn't stay long. My son will not be defined by society stereotypes especially at a child learning center. He attended in August 2015, and whenever we will drive by he speaks on his experience...3 year old. God bless, no way!

Amazing staff! They treat our daughter as if she were family.. And that's how it feels when we go in there. We did not know you do not need a licence to operate a daycare in the state of Alabama when we were looking where we would feel comfortable taking our daughter. Not only did they inform us of their practices and policies, they gave us a great tour and information on choosing any daycare that we felt was suited to our needs, and brought to light the differences in licensure. They are completely professional and I feel completely comfortable there with our daughters care. We love them there.

didn't have a great first impression. although staff was friendly, the place was loud and when we walked around, there was a teacher changing the kids diapers while the kids were standing (which isn't a problem for me) and had a diaper pile on the floor and part of the rug. the dirty diapers were open, not folded up. they should have been in the trash right away. I addressed this with the individual giving the tour and she said the teachers clean the floor but I asked the rug too and she said it's not supposed to be like that...

We removed our infant after 3 months of watching teachers neglect and talk badly of specific babies, overcrowded rooms with little space for small babies to practice first steps safely due to bigger babies mixed in such a small space. They were desperately in need of pest control, which was mentioned twice before it was addressed. Many (not all) of the teachers have very poor attitudes and can't be bothered to answer questions as you drop off & pick up your child. I witnessed teachers screaming at big children and on another occasion intentionally ignoring an older child. Most importantly it wasn't the early learning academy they advertised themselves to be, which was disappointing at their price; they're simply too busy manning large crowds of children in a building smaller than the sanctuary of a old Baptist family church.En Espanol: No debe mandar sus hijos aqui.
