Excellent customer service! Team stayed in constant communication and the repair work was top notch! Highly recommend! My location was 4501 Riverview Dr., Birmingham, Al.Connie and staff even stayed past 5pm because I was late due to traffic! Stay away , stay far away lies on top of lies on top of lies had my best friends truck for months and months and months . I took mine to another Joe Hudson for about the same damage and had it back in three weeks . For four weeks it’s next week then it’s next week . They need reported to better business bureau .

2 stars because the time frame I was given wasn’t honored, I had to extend my rental and they compensated me nothing for that. The day it was ready I got there and they hadn’t actually finished it - as I waited for a hour, I finally decided to go into the body shop and had to demand they wrap up in 5 minutes. they literally were in there standing around talking and they’ve had my car for weeksAnother reason for low rating is though it looked great after , Once they fixed my damage I drive it home to find out they punctured the washer fluid reservoir. This was almost a $9k job , so I was not expecting to have another issue or inconvenience to deal withIt took them several weeks to be able to get Me back in to fix that. Part of it was them calling a wrong number when I’ve provided mine multiple occasionsInitially said it would be 10-15 mins to replace it then said they needed it the entire day requiring me to figure out another vehicle . When I asked for them to cover the rental car for the day they declinedI’ve Been waiting over a month to hear back from JHCCC manager or corporateI’ve left messages and did the contact form even spoke with a manager and he said he’d call back, no call as of yet

Look at the pictures. A one year old luxury car. I was hit while at a red light. Through the other drivers insurance I selected this place for just a rear bumper repair. This place then used touch up paint on a side mirror since more damage happened to the driver side door at their location. Over spray on EVERYTHING. The driver door that was replaced has bubbles and RUST under the paint. And the bumper I originally went to get fixed doesn’t even line up and the body lines are completely off. And on top of everything the driver door doesn’t seal and the trunk leaks! My car never had issues till these people touched it. The manger at this location is a angry and likes to lie to the insurance companies. Irresponsible, lazy group. The pictures show you the type of work done here. I have contacted them, they say this is “like factory”. I highly suggest to avoid joe Hudson like the plague.Services: Painting

I brought my car into the Flat Rock Branch to have a door replaced. They replaced the door with a door with a defective handle. This defect caused some of the safety features to be inoperable. When I brought the car back to them they gave me the run around for a month. They finally told us to take the car to the dealership and if the said the problem was with the new door they would pay for it. We did this and the dealership gave us the papers to prove it was the door handle. I brought the paperwork to Hudson's Center. Weeks later we had to go to Small Claim's Court to get the money. We received the money from them ,but short $80. They never returned any calls. A terrible experience. Manager is less than desirable.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Stay away from it if you want a quality service in timely manner. They give warranty on their repairs but will never fix them if you have any issues with their repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Joe Hudson performed top-quality work to repair the damages to my vehicle. The entire staff that I dealt with - Rachelle, Jake and Terry - were fantastic to work with, very courteous and friendly, and kept me apprised of every part of the process. April 28th: My car was rear-ended on February 23rd. Progressive chose this place to repair the damage. It has been sitting there most of that time, waiting on parts. We all know there are supply issues, so it is inconvenient but understandable. However, the parts on my car came in over two weeks ago. I was told my car would be ready by the end of last week. I called last Thursday, and a woman said my car was just being painted because my technician had been out all week. This means that they could have said it might be delayed when I talked to them. They did not. They never bothered to let me know when I called or update me by picking up the phone themselves. They said it would be ready yesterday or today.I just called, and they said my car is being painted, and they hope I will get it back Friday. I said no, my car was painted last Thursday. This is the third week in a row where I’ve been told it would be ready Tuesday or Wednesday; those days come, and then it’s Friday. Friday comes, and it’s the following Tuesday or Wednesday again. Now I'm waiting on a manager to call me back. They do not keep you updated, do not complete work on time, and their customer service is non-existent. This chain is the Walmart of collision work.May 2nd. I finally picked up my car. Last week I waited three hours for the manager to call me back before I called back. He was "out" and would return my call. I waited two more hours and was about to call them back when he finally called me. He just doesn't know why I was told so many different things or who told me any of it. Even though they gave my adjuster the same information. He confirmed it would be ready Friday. I checked on my app at 1 pm Friday, and my car was still not assembled. I still hadn't heard anything from them. I waited to call them until 4 pm (they close at 5). He said I could pick it up, but they hadn't cleaned it yet, and if I wanted it cleaned, I'd have to wait until Monday (today). I waited until noon today and hadn't heard from anyone. I called and spoke with Terry, and she said it was ready. I go pick it up, and Terry asks if Jake has called me to say it was ready. Nope. Did anyone call me? Nope.I got home, and the tow hook cover was left off, and nothing was cleaned. There is still residue in the car's cracks, and they didn't even vacuum it. I emailed pictures about the tow hook cover, and Jake responded that since it was a decorative piece, they assumed I would want to go ahead and get my car back and replace it when it comes in. This is correct; however, no one could be bothered to tell me that there was still a part not on it. Actually, I've been told twice (as was my adjuster) that all parts were in. I asked Jake if a QA inspection was done on my vehicle, and he said they did one at the same time they detailed it, which makes sense because it wasn't detailed. This whole experience has been a nightmare. Again, please use someone else. They are absolutely awful.Update: May 12th As I came out of the movie theater today, I noticed that the front side bumper wasn’t lined straight. It wasn’t put on all the way or correctly and moves when pressed. That had to be re-repaired.August 9th. I was driving home from Walmart, and my muffler fell off. The pipe was not fitted for my car, hanging down 3-4 inches lower than it should be, and it just fell off. I called Joe Hudson when it happened, and now all of a sudden, they replied. I completed that survey in May. They’re well aware of what happened.August 11th. I took my car to my dealership's collision center. The entire exhaust system should have been replaced. Joe Hudson only replaced the muffler. The accident shifted the exhaust system 4-5 inches forward, allowing play, resulting in my muffler falling off. One of the parts is on backorder, so my car is now in another collision center while I try and work out another rental.They gave me my car back knowing it was unsafe. Staff was very friendly, accommodating and timely. My car was repaired a day earlier than expected, and I was sent updates along the way. I am truly blown away at how on top of their business they are.
