I didn’t plan to do business with Jim Burke (there’s a closer dealership with whom we’ve done much business!). However, from the moment I talked to Clarence (salesman), he was on top of it and wouldn’t let go. He kept me up to date with all possibilities, listened to me when I explained what I was trying to do, and—within 3 days—I was in a brand new Santa Fe SEL.
It was an outstanding experience.

I went to this dealership because my parents have purchased 2 vehicles through them and had a great experience with great cars. I Purchased my car through Jim Burke in October/November of 2023. I have no complaints about my car but haven't had the best experience otherwise. The purchasing process was easy BUT they took a copy of my debit card to take the down payment and a day later got a notification that someone was trying to use my debit card on Walmart.com- this ended up cancelling my debit card. Nobody else has my debit card info but this dealership. I told them multiple times I wanted GAP insurance included on my loan and the salesmen kept telling me he would ask if my monthly payment included GAP and never did.. I have text messages to prove this. When I reminded him after 5 times of asking he told me the finance guy would talk to me about that and that he didn't want to step on his toes. They never talked to me about it and turns out I have no GAP. Also when purchasing my car they gave me lifetime oil changes/ tire rotations and then cancelled that benefit when they moved over to Hallmark Hyundai. That was a huge deciding factor when purchasing my car as oil changes and tire rotations add up. Only giving them 2 stars because I have no complaints on my car.

I was told I had a full warranty and I found out I did not. I was told I would get an owners manual and an extra fob and I never did get them. And when I tried to contact them, I would get no response. I will never do business with them again!

I have always had excellent service from this dealer. Unfortunately my last experience was very very poor. The dealership has been sold and it would appear they are having some difficulties in the transition. I hope these are rectified and fixed and they return to excellent status they had before.
