After having my vehicle condemned as dead by another place and finding out later that it was still functional but needed repairs, I looked around for a different shop and saw that Hoover Automotive had great reviews and wasn't far from my residence. i gave them a try and they slotted me in for a few days later, so I had the vehicle towed there to be left for a few days. They started diagnosis of the problem that I described at the time that was specified and notified me of the preliminary assessment.I have to give special props to Mr. Quentin Dunn. He was friendly and affable and answered all of my many and probably nonsensical questions from a complete car luddite. He laid out the repairs and the costs both over the phone and via a form sent by e-mail, and was clear and concise about everything, and no work is performed without the vehicle owner's approval (some places try to slip in collateral work at an extra unexpected cost). Yes, it was a bit of a sticker shock, but that's not necessarily the fault of this shop, that's just the nature of extensive car repairs and sometimes that happens. On top of the exemplary service, he's a former(?) wrestling fan like myself, and the business has a cool logo, so that's an added bonus.I wish I found these guys sooner. Their reviews are well earned and I probably would've saved myself a lot of stress and headache if I've gone to them from the beginning. I'll be giving Hoover Automotive my patronage for vehicle maintenance for now on.Services: Steering & suspension repair

The company I work for has been coming here for years and has always been treated, fairly and efficiently with quality work. I decided to bring my personal vehicle in when I was in need and got the same treatment with honest, professional mechanics. Would not go anywhere else.

We Trust the whole team to do a competent and very thorough job. We have been dedicated clients, ever since the incomparable 'Quentin' found a recall notice that our Dealership overlooked. Though Hoover Automotive were not able to provide that particular recall service, they insisted on towing the car (and paying for that) to a Dealer that did honor the recall. That was over 5 years ago. We always give Hoover Automotive our business. They are honest, fair and do great work.

The staff was wonderful! I spoke with Quinton and he was delightfully patient and personable as he kindly explained what repairs my car may or may not need. He even told me which repairs I can do myself instead of taking advantage of my lack of knowledge in cars and getting more money from me. On top of all of this, the prices and invoice for the pricing was incredibly transparent.I may have found my "car guys"!
