“My grandmother took me here whenever I was moving into my first apartment, and they have many beautiful furniture and decorative pieces here. I fell in love with a set of gold lamps with white shades, and my grandmother treated me to them. We had a really good experience there and the only downside to the purchase was the price. The two lamps I chose cost $500, and my grandmother's kindness was the only reason I was able to afford them. Otherwise, if you can afford it then I have no negative comments! Just be prepared for the price point you are walking into!”

“FIND, TRADE, LOVE! I have heard about Sojourns through the grapevine, and have wanted to come by for a while now. Unfortunately, I don't typically find myself in Crestwood a whole bunch. Sojourns is a fair trade business which means they trade between companies in developed countries and producers in developing countries in which fair trade is paid to the producers. Nothing in this store is made in a factory, but instead is hand crafted. They had sections for all different types of items. Clothing, jewelry, knives/kitchen ware, snacks and toys. Everything is neatly organized too which is great. Sojourns is a great spot to find gifts for anyone and everyone. They have all sorts of different things inside. I winded up picking up some shower steamers which I am excited to use. The store is very organized, beautiful artwork with tons of things to look at everywhere you turn. The owner is super sweet. You can tell she loves what she does and is always happy to help you find what you are looking for. Whether that be a gift for yourself or so,some else.”

“Urban Suburban is a brilliant place. It's one of those spots you can find yourself walking around inside for hours. There a stalls where small business owners can put their pieces inside and you can purchase them. I loved just looking at all of the items in each of the stalls. From furniture, jewelry, home decor they have it all. I would definitely classify this spot as a place to find one of a kind gifts. I had messaged them on IG a while ago asking if they had any bags of jewelry for sale. I know that is a popular trend these days. Unfortunately they did not have that, but I do think it would be a good thing to add to keep up to date with the trends. If anyone is in the area looking for a spot to kill some time, I highly suggest coming into Urban Suburban.”

“I had the opportunity to visit the Galleria store today and Emily, the manager, is THE BEST customer service person I have ever had to interact with in the whole mall. The store is clean and well stocked. Everything was priced and folded neatly and I cannot say anything but KUDOS to Emily and crew for presenting such a pleasurable shopping experience. “I could not be more pleased with my experience here! I brought in 10 small bar lamps that needed to be rewired for a restaurant, and was met with such kindness and helpfulness from the staff. I felt really good about leaving my lamps in Katie’s hands, and she told me they would be complete in less than two weeks.Less than 48 HOURS LATER, they were finished. I couldn’t believe it. “THE REST IS STILL UNWRITTEN! I was trying to kill some time before meeting with a friend for lunch. Decided to walk around Mountain Brook a little bit. I had not had the opportunity to do so in the past so I figured why not. Stumbled upon this small stationary store. It feels very dainty and ritzy inside. The lady who works there was very nice. She was helping another customer when I walked in, so that gave me some time to look around a little bit. There were all sorts of goodies inside the store. Beautiful crystal picture frames, silk scarves, and a lot of variety of cards and stationary packs. This is defiantly the type of store to come to when looking for wedding gifts or just gifts in general. Mainly for the women in your life, as I did not really see a lot of inventory in the store for men. The prices might be a little high, but after all it is in Mountain Brook so it makes scene. Though I highly recommend checking this spot out. If you are ever in the area, go on in and see what you can find for a special person in your life.”

“I would have never know that this store was in the vicinity we where visiting unless my mother would have said something. She wanted to go walk in and see what type of furniture they sold. My wife and I were extremely glad that we did, because we purchased the perfect set of chairs from there for our dining room table. “Kirkland's is really becoming one of my favorite go to home décor stores. Staff are always friendly, and this location is no different. The second I walked through the door I was greeted and asked if I needed help with anything from somebody that was very friendly. The stores are always well laid out...organization and neatness are a theme. They have all sorts of stuff for the home including seasonal things (currently spring type stuff) as well as year round staples . blankets - art - furniture - nick knacks - candles - just about anything you could possible need for the home, they have it. Prices are typically pretty good, and they have lot's of sales items. If you sign up and provide your email, pretty much immediately, you'll get a 20% of regular price coupon. They are good to their customers and provide quality products and support. I'm a big fan .... definitely check this place out!”
