I was having trouble with a tire that wouldn't stay inflated. I saw no signs of puncture, so I took it over to Havoline. Within 10 minutes Dominique had solved the problem, found a solution, and sent me on my way free of charge. He took time to listen and to make sure I knew what he had fixed. You can tell when someone is taking the time to make sure your car is in good working order instead of just completing a transaction as fast as possible. If you want experienced auto repair from people who give a crap about you as a person go to Havoline and talk to Dominique.

3,000 miles ago I had my regular service interval which included an engine flush among many other things at the dealership. I drove to Havoline today to get my oil changed as it has been 3k miles and the service technician started telling me that my oil was excessively dirty and needed to be cleaned. He also told me that he used to work at dealerships and that dealerships don’t do the work you pay for, they just say they do them. He then tried to sell me the service and tell me I should get it done every 3 oil changes or 10,000 miles. Showing me the oil on the dipstick as if I couldn’t see that there was normal wear and only a very slight discoloration. My dad was a mechanic. The service technician attempted to insight panic into a car owner in an attempt to sell a service. He also badmouthed dealerships in an attempt to sell this service. I called my dealership and they assured me nothing was wrong with my car but if I would like to bring it by they would check it out for me as a courtesy. This was my first experience here and I will not be back.

I am a regular customer and I had a small problem and now that I have done some investigating I realized they really took advantage of me. I am going to give them a chance to redeem themselves. This is very disturbing to me.

Visited with them today, and they did a great job on my vehicle. I was 'in and out' in fifteen minutes. I will definitely use this company again!

Car wouldn't start after I got done from the clinic just down the street. I walked over to the Havoline and asked if someone could help me. They sent one of their mechanics with me with a charge kit and he jumpstarted the car and I was able to drive over to the service station. When we got there they said the battery was dead even though I had replaced it a couple of months prior. This lead then to believe that the alternator was shot. They tried getting the battery to run for a while and it kept dying. They recommended that I have the alternator changed. It was closing time and I didn't want to tow it so they let me keep the car in the garage and said they would get to it the following day. The next day they called me and said they had changed the alternator and were able to charge the battery back up so I didn't have to pay for a new battery. All in all it cost $400. Maybe I could've got a better price but this was a competitive price and the workmanship and customer service was great. Would recommend. Update: I went back for a routine oil change which cost $44. Went home and next morning was huge oil leak under the car. Car has never leaked before. Took it back to the shop hoping they could help me out. One of the guys jacks it up and looks under it says he can't see any leaks and it's probably just residual oil from the oil pan. Next morning same thing happens. Take the car back again. This time same guy says it's probably the drain plug leaking and the only solution is a $700 oil pan/gasket replacement. Didn't even offer to replace engine oil that was leaking. This place was the first shop that actually noticed my oil pan was stripped and actually placed the initial drain plug. Surprised they couldn't get it to stop leaking. All in all, I had a good experience followed by a bad experience hence the change to 3 stars.
