My bird had a broken leg and there were no vets for bird in my town on the weekend so I went this place on Sunday. Arrived around 1 p.m. but the place was already busy. The doctor and all the staffs were super nice. The doctor explained every little details about the examination and the treatment. It was really nice visit after all.

Dr Atlas is a very personable vet & really good with exotic birds.I have taken my African Grey in a few times over the years & Dr. Atlas always takes time with my bird & answers all my questions.Thank you Dr Atlas

Dr. Atlas and his staff are always a pleasure to work with. Dr. Atlas is very attentive and will take time with you to explain everything about your fur baby and make you/them feel much more than just a patient. My dog's regular vet is about 40 miles away so we use Riverview as a secondary home, but have been pleased every visit. Prices are higher than my regular vet but he's not in a high-traffic and well-populated area like Riverview. Front desk staff and assistants are always very helpful as well. Kilo always comes out smiling ?

We stumbled upon this clinic when we found an injured, terrified, and sick stray one Sunday who had basically resigned himself to die on a family member's porch. The staff helped us make the right decisions for his care and make the sweetest addition to our family. Shortly after, we transferred our geriatric dog here and found compassion from Dr. Tate and a team that finally listened and advocated to help us continue to give him the best life we can. A painful tumor other vets were afraid to touch due to his age was removed, and he has not been more himself in years. The doctors and staff here have helped us make better lives for our sweet boys and made our lives better in return. They have better prices our than previous vets with care lightyears beyond; I can't recommend this place enough.

This clinic has the most compassionate staff of any vet I have ever been to (and I have moved around a lot across the Eastern U.S. over the past 3.5 years)! If you do not want to read the whole story, in short - 100% make this your veterinarian clinic, my cat literally saw EVERY vet in this clinic, and I spoke to possibly every single vet, technician & reception staff throughout my cat's illness. I PROMISE you will not be disappointed with the service.

Dr Atlas was the nicest, most kind medical professional I have ever met. He spent 45 minutes with my son, quizzing him on his reptile knowledge, complimenting him on his knowledge, and teaching him quite a number of things we didn’t know. He showed him all sorts of things, including his snake’s mouth and teeth, his cool temperature laser gun, and his snake’s heart through his skin. We went in for a checkup and received that and a highly valuable training course. It was fantastic. I left so grateful for the investment he made in my son.

I'll start my possibly lengthy review by stating that I have received nothing but great service at Riverview, and I have no doubt that Dr. Atlas is probably a great veterinarian for exotic pets. However, the reason for my review is due to the one time I've done business with Dr. Atlas and his bedside manner.

This is the ONLY place we take our rats, hamsters & cats. We have been going here since 2012 with our very first pet rat. We trust Dr. Alvin Atlas and Dr. Chris Campbell implicitly with our animals. Dr. Campbell is so very kind, caring and understanding, and he actually LISTENS to your input, which is fantastic; he's a wonderful vet, and very knowledge about rats and their illnesses & treatments, which can be difficult to find in a vet. And Dr. Atlas is great, such an extremely skilled surgeon. He's performed tumor removals and neuter surgery for our rats many times, and all went wonderfully. He performed tumor removal surgery on one of our rats, and he did such an AMAZING job, she healed up so very quickly, within days you couldn't even tell that she'd had surgery! Even with their very busy schedules​, Dr. Atlas and Dr. Campbell always take the time to explain things, answer all of our questions and makes us feel like a priority. I can tell they truly love their work. The entire staff here - the receptionist and vet techs - are always so kind. On more than one occasion the clinic has called the day after a visit/procedure to check how my animals are doing; that shows they really care. I know that my animals are always in good hands here, and I will NEVER take them anywhere else.
