Looks like a Tornado hit in there. And it's filthy. Cannot find anything. So much product all over store in boxes and carts that you can't hardly walk and empty shelves everywhere. Cashier was dipping hands into cheese dip and eating while talking on phone and handling transactions. It's awful and it's always like this! No excuse for it to be so bad to this severity. If you can't do better than this then close it down. I feel like I need a tetanus shot after my visit. The

I was told so many times that they are trying to “make it better” by hiring new people but even though it’s not good at all. Like right now my husband is watching workers sit outside because their opener apparently hasn’t arrived it’s 8:49am and it says it’s opened and opens at 8. At this point just shut it down because nothing is working new hires and all it’s just not working.

So, I went into the store to quickly purchase some toiletries. You would not believe what I seen. I know all companies having a hard time hiring people. Though, it does not make any sense for a store to look in despair.I felt like I jumped back in time to 2019 when COVID was around. Due to all the empty shelves I saw.I believe I was fair with the (2) star rating. I did not take pictures of everything. Just by looking at my main uploads, one can notice the disorganized environment.Below are my pros and consPros:Employees are welcoming and knowledgeableSaving rewardsMultiple locationsHandicap accessiblePlenty of parking spacesCons:DustyMildew smellFloors not cleanNo variety of itemsIsles crowded and clustered w/ itemsShelves not stocked properlyBehind the cash registers, it is a hoarding of items climbing up to the ceiling.

This is the worst Dollar General in Birmingham. The store is dirty, unorganized, and shelves are empty. Always one employee there. The building inside and outside needs remodeling and updates.

I don't understand why this store is so despicable. I came in here to grab two health and beauty items. I used self checkout so I could get out of here as fast as possible! The staff was ok. There was soooo much inventory that was in the aisles. Literally looked like a tornado touch down inside the store. Staffing is clearly an issue. This isn't my first time coming here , so I'm not sure why I never reviewed this location. I wish this review was better but it can't be! Lol

Yesterday, I was upset about my shopping experience at this location. The only employee needs assistance with stocking the shelves and cleaning the store. These types of issues should be addressed with the District and Regional managers.Hire people to help the only employee in this location to make my shopping experience BETTER the next time. Thanks!

This place is so unorganized There's always carts and boxes in the Way and you can never find anything It's junkie They need to close the store for like 3 days to get all their inventory together and on the shelves Don't get me wrong this is not the first one I've visit it seems like 2 out of 3 is like that And it's not like they're gonna be missing money to close the stores down for 3 days to get their stuff together And I know the workers there be so frustrated because it's a cluster of things everywhere I love the store but I hate going in there because of that So please cooperate do something about it

Please close this location. I come here often and it’s miserably unorganized, nothing is ever stocked but there’s always large carts of Overstock and boxes everywhere!!!! the store is a mess the workers look depressed the lines are always long and move slow hands down one of the worst stores if not the top spot i had to give one star but it shouldn’t even have that one. ZERO STARS THIS PLACE IS TRAAAASH

The district manager was bad mouthing the one & only employee to the fed x driver and then when I interrupted, she continue to badmouth her to me. The district manager told me she has 21 stores & that the "black girl" working schedules herself to work alone & can't handle the workload (the store was a disaster). The fed x driver was backing her up to me, like saying, "she has a point" when she explaining how bad of an employee this lady was. But by the way, the woman we are all talking about was working & all I could see was she was over worked & doing her best. It was extremely unprofessional & as I was leaving. I could see the employee putting the baskets away that were all over the parking lot. I decided to stop and let her know that her boss was bad mouthing her to both me and the FedEx driver. Ya, FedEx, the same company that had an employee murder a baby girl.
